Our Ulpan courses are back for 2022!

Want to Speak Hebrew like an Israeli in 2022?

New subsidised online Hebrew Ulpan evening classes for Beginners, Lower and Upper Intermediate students starting in January 2022 at East London & Essex Liberal Synagogue taught by a qualified, native speaker teacher.

Sessions will be online with the possibility of special in-person sessions for festivals/special events during the year.

Classes will be on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings

At ELELS, after two years of running successful Ulpan classes taught by Hagi Cohen, our qualified native speaker teacher, we are opening up new subsidised online classes for

January 2022. We are hoping to open a brand new class for complete beginners, as well as a new Lower Intermediate class for last year’s starters, and an Upper Intermediate Group for our more advanced learners. Sessions will be online with the

possibility of special in-person sessions for festivals/special events during the year.

• Classes to take place on Tuesdays/Wednesday evenings: Beginners - Wednesdays 6.15-7.45pm Lower Intermediates - Tuesdays 8-9.30pm Upper Intermediates - Wednesdays 8-9.30pm • A year-long Ulpan with 90 minute classes across 3 terms

• Taught by Hagi Cohen and Yael Breuer, qualified, experienced native speaker teachers • Classes are lively and interactive and focus on practical conversation skills, but also include listening, reading, writing and Israeli culture. • Classes are generously sponsored by the WZO. • Classes are online with occasional in-person/ hybrid get togethers on festivals and special occasions where possible. • ELELS/LJ/MRJ members- £180
