Please join us as we celebrate Member Appreciation Day on Friday, Oct. 14, from 5-8 p.m. at the REMC headquarters in Osgood.

This “members only” event will feature tours of the new REMC campus, including the administrative building, mechanics' garage, warehouse, truck bays, and pole yard. Attendees will also enjoy a free meal and a goody bag, compliments of the REMC.

The meal will be provided by The House of Brisket, and dessert will be provided by Moore Sweets. Both vendors have a faithful following in the community and are looking forward to serving our members at this event.

Proof of membership will be required for admission, so please bring your primary account number or a copy of your latest bill for registration purposes.

BUDGET Billing

Is it right for you?

Depending on the time of year, weather can cause your electric use – and your power bill – to change dramatically. Budget billing is a free service that eliminates those extreme peaks by leveling out your payment, so you pay a similar amount each month.

For most members, the highest bills are in the summer, when you use air conditioning the most. If your home has electric heat, your bill may also peak in the extreme cold winter months. With budget billing, you can find comfort in knowing what to expect each month because you’ll pay a similar amount each month. Budget billing is not a discount program, but it also allows you to better manage your monthly budget by keeping your monthly energy costs predictable and manageable. Some months you will pay less than your actual bill, and some months you will pay more to make up that difference, keeping your bills more consistent.

There is no fee to enroll. It’s easy to manage and completely worry-free. It’s just another way we can help you manage your monthly energy costs.

Rebates FOR GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMPS

Rebate for a new constructed geothermal heat pump or replacing another electric resistance heat, gas, heat pump or geothermal.

• Rebated equipment must be installed in primary residence. • Submission must be within 90 days of installation date. • Purchase date must be between Jan. 1, 2022, and Dec. 15, 2022. • The rebated equipment needs to be installed/purchased prior to submission of the application.

Desuperheater is recommended, but not required.

Limit of two rebates per member household per life of rebated equipment. Rebates for HVAC equipment are available for whole home installations only unless otherwise stated. To receive a rebate, all homeowners must provide AHRI (Air conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute) validation for all SEER and EER ratings that can be obtained from the installing heating and cooling dealer. No rebate will be awarded based on HVAC dealer bid specifications, promotional material of dealer, manufacturer or any other source than AHRI. A certificate of AHRI certified performance must be submitted.

All homeowners must complete a rebate application form and provide proof of purchase to receive any 2022 rebate.
