Operation Round Up Scholarships

Two $2,000 and four $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually to high school graduating students whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are KV REMC member-consumers. Students must be graduating in 2023 and planning to attend a college, university or technical school in the fall of 2023. Parent(s) or guardian(s) must be Operation Round Up participants by Feb. 1, 2023 for the student to be eligible to apply. Visit kvremc.com to review the guidelines and download the application. Applications are due into the KV REMC office by March 1 at 3:30 p.m. CT.

Run for directorship and represent the needs of your local community and co-op.

Elections will take place for two open positions. The Kankakee Valley REMC membership will elect a board member from District 4 and one At-Large position.

To be eligible to run for directorship, member-consumers must reside in a township within one of the districts up for election. The At-Large position is open to member-consumers who reside in an area served by KV REMC. All candidates are required to attend a mandatory meeting in June. Director elections will take place at the member appreciation day/ annual business meeting.

District 4: Davis, Center, Oregon, Washington and North Bend townships in Starke County and Union and West townships in Marshall County.

The At-Large Position: Any area served by KV REMC.
