Eleazar Martínez Lindes

nickname/AKA: Ele / Elea

...about myself

My name is Eleazar Martínez, but everybody calls me Ele.

I am graduated in Architecture at the Girona college (UdG), in Catalonia, Spain. I consider myself as a hard-working, disciplined and reliable person with good interpersonal skills.

Native Catalan and Spanish speaker, fluent in English. I enjoy being creative, designing and approaching into the technical details to make sure the feasibility of the execution of the works and being aware of the timings or sequencings required in the full process.

Oriented to the BIM methodology I am always interested in innovation technologies, but comfortable to work within conservatives methodologies such as CAD or sketches. I have reliable experience leading teams and/or being a productive part of them.

BID SUPPORT for JG Ingenieros & GTR

AEC experience

2024, Tarragona, Catalonia, (Spain)

Office & Site Works, CAFISA Tarragona & Miranda de Ebro

Support to the Bids and contractual studies of potential projects for the Architectural Department. Assisting by f.e. modeling a conceptual construction model in which we identify the stages by colors and then display the sequence of installation through the programme. In this case, I thought of doing a Circular Diagram of Linesfor each Stage of Works that are overlaping each other depending on the duration of these 12 analyzed stages, given the advantage that we programmed to complete the works in 12 months short. So is like a Circular Year “Gantt” Diagram that helps to understand where the most dense activity and coordination of works are required at site I consider myself a paperless employee who takes full advantage of digital markups, whether at the office, in the studio, or on the construction site. The versatility, carbon-neutral impact, and time-saving routines—such as avoiding printing, copying, or scanning hard copies—make working with PDF soft copies on my Surface device (by Microsoft) highly beneficial. In my experience, this approach has consistently delivered significant advantages.

GO PAPERLESS!

On the right, a Site Survey done with a Soft Copy, on a writtable electronic device, for the same Data Center Building

On the other hand, when working with “soft copies” on an electronic device that allows writing on a PDF file, we can access a wide variety of pens, highlighters, and other drawing tools simply by selecting them with a finger or a stylus. You can also use rulers, take photos on-site, add guide grids, import images, sketch solutions or record the current state directly on the plans—zooming in as needed— without worrying about printing to scale. And most conveniently, any element can be copied and pasted like in any digital file, or erased if necessary, avoiding the cross-outs we mentioned with “hard copies.”

Paper copies are not only inconvenient to handle on site—they require any available surface to rest the paper on, or otherwise must be held in the palm of your hand, which distorts the natural flow of notes and sketches. If there are mistakes, they lead to cross-outs and/or clarifications written elsewhere on the drawing, and you’re limited to whatever pens or highlighters you happen to have with you.

On the left, a Site Survey done with a Hard Copy, then scanned to be shared

Hello, my name is Eleazar—it’s a biblical Hebrew name, but I was born in Igualada (BARCELONA). It means “God has helped,” and it was translated into Greek as Lazarus.

Some nicknames that have become part of my identity over time are:

• (L) ELE – used in university and professional contexts

• (L.A.) ELEA – used by close friends and family; childhood

Currently, I am unemployed after the end of my last contract with Carbonell Figueras. It was an abrupt ending, as the company—despite always being open and understanding—could no longer accommodate absences related to my mental health and social connectivity. However, during the time I was working on rebuilding my personal life, I was still able to carry out and even grow within all my previous roles and responsibilities. I recognize that I didn’t manage the final stage of that process as well as I should have, possibly due to an overwhelming load. I take full responsibility for the lessons learned and am open to any efficient, constructive feedback.

To regain balance in this crucial stage of life, I’ve dedicated several months to myself—developing better habits and receiving ongoing care from a professional clinical team, all supported by accumulated unemployment benefits. This has helped me identify and break patterns of behavior or mental episodes that had affected my past professional performance. Many of these issues are now either resolved or on the verge of no longer being disruptive. It’s been a much-needed period of recovery, which I’ve valued deeply. I now believe I’m ready to reengage professionally and contribute my best, which will also reinforce the healthy routines that have proven vital to my mental well-being.

Based on previous experiences, I kindly ask that if professional or character references are required, please reach out directly to the companies I’ve worked for, especially Carbonell Figueras. No individual outside my close circle or therapeutic support team is officially qualified to speak on behalf of my mental health status, personal circumstances, or conditions. I would prefer not to sense again that any aspect of my life is being monitored, monetized, shared, or judged inappropriately. Additionally, third parties who may have hindered my access to tools, devices, tasks, or communication—whether intentionally or through misapplied expertise—did not help the situation. I’ll seek appropriate solutions should these scenarios resurface, even when faced with unhelpful silence.

Regarding my professional preferences, I’m interested in roles focused on the design and planning phases of a project, though I also value my experience in construction and As-Built stages. I’m a communicative person—willing and able to contribute, lead, collaborate, or request support when needed.

I’m experienced in working in a collaborative BIM environment, especially within the Autodesk Suite using Revit, BIM360, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. While I don’t hold an official BIM Manager certification, I’ve worked closely with generous colleagues who do, and I’ve been able to both understand and carry out many responsibilities associated with that role. This complements over 15 years of hands-on experience in modeling and using Revit.

I believe I can grow into a powerful and versatile asset—competent without being competitive. My natural strength lies in support and production, though I’m fully capable of stepping into leadership roles if needed. I can contribute effectively in technical or coordination meetings in any of the three languages I speak, always with a methodical and efficient approach.

If you require any further personal or professional details, I’m available for a phone call or an in-person meeting by appointment.

Thank you and kind regards,

Eleazar
