Robin Day Chevron Chairs, Circa 1960’s
Designed by Robin Day in 1959, the teak seat profile is an evolution of the 1952 Slat Chair. Day designed the chairs with a modernist aesthetic with a minimal approach to materials and components. In new iterations of the chair the teak has been switched for walnut. This pair have been reupholstered in Paul Smith for Maharam Epingle Stripe – Caramel, 100% cotton textured fabric reminiscent of our Signature stripe
