El Dorado Livestock Auction is acting only as an agent. All responsibilities and guarantees are between the buyer and seller only.

All horses sold in the horse sale are being sold “as is”. We strongly encourage buyers to inspect possible purchases and ask questions of sellers and sale personnel. Any statements made in the auction ring will take precedence over anything printed in the catalog.

It is our expectation that our sellers represent their horses honestly and expect that our buyers responsibly and promptly pay for their purchases. No horse, whether purchased by a buyer or declared a “no sale,” will be allowed to leave the premises without a printed load out from the sale office. All gates will be locked at the start of the sale. Payment is expected the day of the sale. Accepted payments include cash, cashier’s check, traveler’s check or personal bank check. Credit cards are accepted with a 3.5% processing fee. Wire transfers will also be accepted with permission from the office manager, but must be issued NO LATER than Monday, September 22, 2025. The ELA office will have wiring instructions for you to use. No post-dated checks will be accepted. If you are writing a check, you MUST have a letter of bank credit - no exceptions.

To encourage the integrity of our sale, buyers do have the opportunity to reject a horse sold in the catalog portion of the sale due to a soundness issue or other misrepresentation that is not disclosed during the sale. The buyer has until Wednesday, September 24 at 12 p.m. to present a certificate from a certified veterinarian. All parties, the sale management and our sale veterinarian must agree upon this issue. We do not offer any guarantee between a consignment and buyer of compatibility or disposition. El Dorado Livestock Auction is not responsible for the return of the rejected horse.

The highest bidder will be the buyer. If a seller wishes to “no sale” a horse, they must declare this before leaving the sale ring. If a “no sale” is not declared before leaving, all sales in the ring are final. Every horse in the sale catalog must pass through the sale ring and all monies pass through the office. No alley trading before or after the sale is allowed. El Dorado Livestock Auction is owed 8% commission of any sale price.

The total responsibility of the horse, including care and control, is up to the buyer upon purchase. We do accept horses to stay overnight for pickup on Sunday; however, please make arrangements with the office staff if doing so.

All buyers, sellers and spectators are strongly encouraged to be extremely careful while on all of El Dorado Livestock Auction property. El Dorado Livestock Auction and its management are NOT responsible for any injuries to people and/or horses, property damage or accidents during, before or after the horse previews, team roping, sale day or any other activity.

Woogie was shown in a futurity as a three-yearold - reining pattern, cow work and an obstacle course. He knows his leads, side passes, works a gate, carries a flag, crosses water, on and on. He naturally has more whoa than go, pays attention to cattle moving in the sorting pen. Doctored a handful of cattle outside and tracked the hot heels in the arena. Great ground manners, gentle, easy to catch, loads good, backs out and stands good for the farrier.
