Greetings to all of you! I extend my gratitude to the Southern District Pastor for the privilege given to me to write this message on the occasion of the Southern District Youth Camp 2017 themed “Hope and Future.” The Camp will promote fellowship among the youths in the Southern District. It is hoped that the youths will be brought towards the importance and passion of belonging to the church and appreciate its teachings, vision and mission. I believe youths who are pillars of our generation should be nurtured at a young age and be given the right direction towards building a close relationship with God. The Diocesan Council and I congratulate the Southern District Pastors, especially the Southern District Pastor, Rev. Joseph Bernandos and other members for their efforts in organising this camp. It is my hope and prayer that through this camp, the Kingdom of God will be expanded and the vision of the ELCM i.e. “Go and Make Disciples” be fulfilled.
