“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
John said that the “Word” meaning Yahweh which is the name of God who is never an image, became flesh, a human full of grace and truth. He is saying that we (i.e. the Apostles) had seen his glory that is only possible if he was the Son from the Father. The glory of God continues to shine in us as Christians because we are one in his flesh. And that glory is the love, compassion and grace that others can see and testify.
