Unity of Purpose: The Spirituality Jesus was heading for Jerusalem travelling from Jericho when he chose to pass through the Samaritan towns, when a peculiar situation among his disciples pressed upon him to tell the great story of the Good Samaritan. We have read the story since our Sunday School days, and it has always given us a shot in the arm every time we hear it. As the season progresses towards Advent, we spend the rest of the Christian year contemplating and doing what Jesus intends us to do.
