The Early Childhood Literacy Fair presented by School Board Member Dr. Stacy Hahn’s Storytime Online. ELCHC staff handed out books to the community and explained our services.

We distributed to providers whose staff took curriculum training with us in the past year. This was in an effort so classrooms didn’t have to share kits.

Our community’s babies are dying from being placed to sleep in unsafe sleep environments. These tragedies can be prevented, but we need your help.

The Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County developed the Safe Baby program to train professionals to empower parents and protect their babies from leading causes of preventable infant death.

With the help of community partners, child care providers and hospital nurses, thousands of new parents learn how to choose safe caregivers for their children, prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome and follow safe sleep practices.
