Well instead of the Yellow Brick Road, we will be taking you down “The Streets of Gold.” The Waiting Room presented by Anointed Feet Dance is a dance drama cowritten by Dr. Kanisha Bennett and Johnetta McDowell, featuring choreography from Dr. Kanisha Bennett, Johnetta McDowell and Kenieshia Jones. Brasil Guitar Duo

May 16 @ 8 p.m. | Tickets $24/$10 | M

The Brasil Guitar Duo, João Luiz and Douglas Lora (LAGQ), met in São Paulo as teenage guitar students and are equally at home on a classical or world-music series or performing a concerto with orchestra. The Duo actively strives to expand the repertoire for two guitars, with Lora contributing works of his own and Luiz arranging both classical and Brazilian music.
