PaladinDTS provided 3D BIM management and coordination services for Turner Construction on this 64,000 sq. ft. project. Key services included electrical, lighting, and technology BIM, a 3D scan and point cloud model, and pre-bid coordination of MEP systems, collaborating closely with the engineer and CM.
Supporting Turner Construction on the 12th Floor Fit-up, PaladinDTS provided precise 3D BIM services to help bring electrical, lighting, and MEP systems into alignment.
LOUISVILLE VA MEDICAL CENTER
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Louisville, KY BIM Services
PaladinDTS collaborated with Glenwood Electric to provide BIM services for this new medical center’s power, lighting, and data across parking garages, Central Utility Plant, laundry facility, and multiple other campus outbuildings. The project required coordination between the multiple trade partners in different scope packages.
PaladinDTS leveraged BIM technology to support this new medical center that is focused on expanding access to critical health services for both inpatient and outpatient care.
SANDERS-BROWN CENTER ON AGING/ NEUROSCIENCE RENOVATION

PaladinDTS provided electrical power, lighting, and technology BIM services. Unique phasing challenges required key equipment to remain online throughout renovations. We collaborated closely with Whiting-Turner and the electrical contractor to document existing conditions accurately for seamless model integration.
TEAMWORK
In close collaboration with the design engineer and WhitingTurner, many innovative solutions were implemented to secure project sign-off.
This 32,000 sq. ft. renovation involved new research labs, offices, and public spaces.

PaladinDTS delivered comprehensive 3D BIM Management, working closely with the college and Turner Construction to ensure all owner requirements were met. PaladinDTS also collaborated with Davis H. Elliot to address their specific electrical BIM needs.
The project prioritized ensuring the maintenance team could efficiently service equipment and sustain building operations for years to come.

BIM Coordination
PaladinDTS provided BIM coordination for the electrical systems at the plant, including VDC Coordinators. Our scope covered submittal reviews, model population for lighting and power devices, trade integration, ongoing conflict resolution, and as-built documentation. As a subcontractor to Chapel, the collaborative environment enhanced project coordination and efficiency.
The 55,000 sq. ft. data center is used for production, co-location, back-up, and recovery.

The 145,000 sq. ft. renovation of a 20th-century tobacco warehouse required precise coordination around the timber structure, with exposed systems carefully managed to meet aesthetic and functional requirements. This is UK’s first building to utilize a geothermal system.

$124,000 on drain pipe adjustments and $27,000 on piping rerouting.
PaladinDTS resolved significant design and spatial conflicts through BIM coordination, including a 175foot overflow drainpipe intersecting with OR ductwork and chilled water and steam piping clashing with structural and mechanical components. Our approach minimized rework, reducing change orders and ensuring timely project completion.

KDMC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND IMAGING RELOCATION

PaladinDTS provided BIM cooridnation services for King’s Daughters Medical Center, integrating key systems including electrical, technology, mechanical ductwork, piping, sanitary waste, ventilation, medical gas, and domestic water. Contracted by Robins & Morton, we collaborated with Geiger Brothers and Ohio’s Dixon Electric.

FACILITY MEDICAL FACILITY RELOCATION

PaladinDTS provided BIM services for electrical, lighting, and technology systems in partnership with AE Electrical Solutions, with construction managed by D.W. Wilburn. The project’s unique challenges included extensive conduit required to meet strict security needs and managing large volumes of data for individual cell alarms, cameras, card readers, push buttons, etc. Additionally, coordinating system installations in areas with ceiling heights up to 17 feet added to the project’s complexity.
PaladinDTS delivered critical BIM services for the relocation of the 256,000 sq. ft. healthcare facility.
