The project strings together snapshots of scenes taken during my time abroad, finding similarities and making adjacencies that connect and blur together disparate atmospheres and elements. It depicts scenes from the streets of Rome to the bustling alleyways of Naples, the ruins of the Herculaneum to Amsterdam’s central station. The photographs frame emerging points of connection made through my lens, discovering, and exploring the cities. Window frames begin converging with scaffolding, storefronts with train carriages, gardens with infrastructure. Starting with Diptychs, then forming quadtychs, and viewed as a larger body of work, there is a flow between various locations across different times, the overall curation presenting a compilation of my experiences.
