Chairmans report by sue Jones Welcome back after the hot summer, although it doesn’t seem to have cooled down much yet! I hope you enjoyed your summer wherever you spent it. We have a full programme of events line up for you to enjoy for the rest of the year culminating in our usual pre-Christmas dinner & dance. This year tickets will be sold exclusively to our members until the 5th November after which we
will open it up to non-members, so don’t delay, get your names down as soon as you can. Meson Sara is closed at the moment so you will find representatives from El Valle across the road at the bar next door to Maroma Estate agents for the first few Fridays of September, we think Meson Sara will re-open about the September.

Your committee is already hard at work planning events and trips for 2019 if you have any ideas of places you would like to go then let us know and we will investigate if it is possible .I look forward to seeing you at the September meeting or at our Friday meeting points. Don’t forget, if you are booked on the Valencia trip, the balance needs to be paid before the end of this month. Thank you.
