If you want to make friends, learn about other countries, have fun and visit more places in Czechia, don’t hesitate to check out ESN. From a welcome week, country presentations or sports activities to parties, laser games, ice skating and trips to places like Prague or beer brewery Svijany and more, you can join it all.

In addition, they also post interesting facts and tips about Czechia and Czech culture.
Tomakesureyoudon’trunoutofallyourmobiledataduringyour firstweek, youcanusetheuniversityWiFi!You can log in to TULwifi or eduroam. What is the difference? TULwifi is a network that works only for the students of our university. It has limited services, therefore you would read your emails on it and check out Instagram but don’t expect much more. It’s also a public network, useful more for when nothing else works. Nevertheless, it kicks you out every half an hour.
On the other hand, eduroam will connect you with the social world of any Czech university, that takes part in this project. It will provide full services and with all that, it also encrypts your data! And that pays off.
LIANE (Liberec Academic Network) is the computer network of the Technical University of Liberec. LIANE users can use the following central managed services:
access to the internet (Ethernet, Wi-Fi), central managed username and password used to access many services
(access to computers in classrooms, a library, e-learning systems, etc.),
e-mail account: firstname.surname@tul.cz, membership in Eduroam – project, thanks to which you will get access to the network of other universities in the Czech Republic and also abroad.
Accounts in the Liane network are automatically created for every student of the first year according to the information provided by the study department of each faculty. These accounts are valid during the whole duration of the studies. YoucansetupaccesstobothWiFionliane.tul.czintheChangepasswordforremoteaccesssection.
If you need just to change the password, contact your International StudyOffice, please!
