Akron Golf Course Presents
COED SUMMER
VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Happy Mother’s Day! This baby robin thought photographer Karen Iseminger of Westfield was his mom. The cute little fellow was just a little mixed up.
Quasquicentennial will have something for everyone Itʼs definitely different than Akronʼs Centennial Celebration, said Committee Chairperson Marcene Heeren, explaining with the Centennial, events were held every weekend for months. “The Quasquicentennial Celebration is all happening in four days - Aug. 9 -12.” “We tried to come up with a variety of things so that there would be something everybody will like,” she said. “Obviously, everybodyʼs not going to like everything but we tried to hit all ages - something for the men, the women and children.”
