RESEÑA HISTÓRICA ActualmentesedenominaInstitutodeEducaciónSuperiorTecnológicoPúblicodelEjército–ETE“Sgto 2doFernandoLoresTenazoa”,pero,hastael18deJuliodel2011,sellamóINSTITUTODEEDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR TECNOLÓGICO DEL EJÉRCITO – ETE “Sgto 2do Fernando Lores Tenazoa”, desde su fundación se denominó ESCUELA TÉCNICA DEL EJÉRCITO. Los cambios de denominación fueron en cumplimiento a lo establecido en la Ley Nº 29394“Ley de InstitutosyEscuelasdeEducaciónSuperior,yesprecisamenteconéstanuevadenominaciónqueestá autorizado y facultado por el Ministerio de Educación, para otorgar títulos a nombre de la Nación. La última denominación es en cumplimiento a lo dispuesto por el Ministerio de Educación (DESTP y DIGESUTP), que dispone incluir “Público”.

BIOGRAFÍA
SGTO 2DO FERNANDO LORES TENAZOA Patrono del IESTPE - ETE ació en Iquitos el 27 de abril de 1906, siendo sus padres Don Benito Lores, limeño y Doña María Tenazoa, de antigua familia Tarapotina. El 1º de febrero de 1928 logra una de sus claras aspiraciones, el vestir el glorioso uniforme de soldado peruano como voluntario de la sección de clases de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, tenía 22 años, medía 1.63 y pesaba 55 kg según consta en su libreta de servicio militar.

Al cumplir su tiempo de servicio el 31 de marzo de 1931 ya el Sargento Lores regresó al lado de su madre, pero se produce el conflictodeLeticia ensetiembrede1933.En este contexto, Fernando Lores fue una de las primerosjóvenesloretanosqueseenrolóen las fuerzas de Iquitos“se necesitan soldados quesepancombatirenlaselvaynadielohará mejor que yo” decía.

Se le dio de alta el 10 de Enero de 1933, como reenganchado en su clase de Sgto, salió de Iquitosconlasprimerasfuerzasquemarcharon al Putumayo, haciendo el viaje por el Napo surcándolohastaPantoja,dedondesiguieron a Güeppí a reforzar la pequeña guarnición peruanaconnumerosastropas,yconapoyo de la aviaciónfueunaluchatitánicaen laque un puñado de soldados peruanos, se vieron obligadosacombatirencondicionesinferiores completamenteaisladoenplenaselva,pero todoscumplieronconsudebervalerosamente sobretodoelSgtoLoresquecayódisparando hastaelultimoinstantesuarmaautomática, había prometido antes de salir de Iquitos.

asta1974elEjércitonocontabaconuncentrodeformaciónparapersonalauxiliar,dondesepudiera impartirlainstruccióntécnicaespecializadadeacuerdoalavancetecnológicoyalosrequerimientos de la institución.
Hasta ese año las escuelas de Material de Guerra,Transmisiones, Sanidad e Ingeniería eran las que independientemente tenían a su cargo la formación de personal auxiliar de su especialidad. EstarealidadhacequeelcomandodelEjército,decidalaformacióndeuncentrodeinstrucciónpara personalauxiliardenominada“EscuelaTécnicadelEjército”,disponiendolaformacióndeunacomisión organizadora de la misma. Fue el 13 de mayo de 1974, la fecha en que se expidió el D. S. N° 044/GU DIRUDIN creando la EscuelaTécnicadelEjércitoyel27deenerode1975añoenqueseinauguróoficialmentesuslabores, hantranscurrido43añosefectivosdelaboracadémicayeneselapsolamagnituddelatareacumplida ha sido loable, tratando en todo momento de alcanzar los objetivos propuestos. ntil 1974, the Army did not have a training center for auxiliary personnel, where specialized technicalinstructioncouldbegivenaccordingtotechnologicalprogressandtherequirementsof the institution.
Untilthatyear,theschoolsofWarMaterial,Transmissions,HealthandEngineeringwereindependently responsible for the training of auxiliary personnel of their specialty. This fact makes that the command of the Army, decides the formation of a center of instruction for auxiliarypersonneldenominated“TechnicalSchooloftheArmy”,arrangingtheformationofacommission organizer of the same one.
