The ASPEM Cold Runner Block provides high precision to mold closing. Its simplicity also eliminates all the disavantages of the use of conventional systems.

Its concept is unique, exclusive and, due to its efficiency and reliability, it is becoming a standard CRB solution for the leading rubber injection companies around the world.

In the conventional systems, the fixed heating plate of the injection machine is kept cool or slightly heated. Therefore, a plate with electrical resistances is required as part of the CRB to heat the mold.

In the ASPEM CRB system, the heating plates of the injection machine heat the whole set. The internal distribution block is cooled separately.

Each CRB can have different layout and number of nozzles. The interface system between the injection machine and the mold is designed according to the needs of each customer. Thus, each project is dealt with in a distinctive way by our engineers.

Latest generation softwares ensure that each CRB has maximum productive performance in addition to a perfect injection balancing and homogenous heating in the area of the cavities.

Daylight

For good performance, the mold demands a lot of clamping force. However, most of the insulation plates are not efficient to withstand pressure and they deform after a certain time of use. The shuting parallelism is lost, damaging not only the quality of the production, but also the columns of the machine.

Handling / Setup

The height of the assembly is usually greater than 160mm, and it requires a lot of space in the machine.

Closing accuracy

ASPEM CRB The height varies between 95mm and 125mm, allowing for more free daylight in the machine and the use of larger molds.

In this case, the clamping force is transmitted entirely by steel plates. There is no insulation plate between the heating plate of the injection machine and the mold. Full parallelism is achieved when closing, which increases the quality of production, as well as the machine's durability and precision.

There are no electrical wires.

Only 1 thermoregulator is used to connect one input and one cooling output.

It is necessary to handle electrical wires and, most of the times, 2 thermoregulators are needed to connect 2 inputs and 2 cooling outputs.

Maintenance

Periodically it is necessary to disassemble and to clean the nozzle cooling system and to replace its sealing rings.

The replacement of the insulating plate is necessary due to deformation or breaking.

Sealing rings on the nozzles, insulating plates, resistances and electrical wires are not used.

The change and maintenance of electrical resistances and wires are needed.

Very low maintenance cost.

Details that make a difference

Cured and purged injection channels of the CRB ASPEM.

Fully heat-treated channels with rounded curves make the flow continuous and leave no residue for the next cycle.

In case of cured rubber inside the CRB, it is not necessary to stop the production to disassemble the block. The special design of the channels allows for total cleaning through the purge, in a simple and quick way.

All standard spares are kept in stock, allowing fast replacement when required.
