IKE INSIGHT

Thanks to your support, the Eisenhower Foundation met two matching gift challenges.
On Giving Tuesday, we raised $10,000 and received a $10,000 matching gift from The BeachEdwards Family Foundation.
Also thanks to you, we reached our year-end goal by raising $80,000, which secured an $80,000 matching gift from a dedicated group of supporters!

I Like Ike Campaign
The I Like Ike Capital Campaign has taken a significant step forward with the addition of two major supporters to our growing list of lead donors. These commitments join the Sunderland Foundation of Overland Park, Kansas, and the Eisenhower Foundation’s Board of Directors in supporting our mission to honor Dwight D. Eisenhower’s legacy.
A $5 million matching gift pledge from the State of Kansas has elevated the stakes of our campaign. Every dollar donated will be matched two-to-one, meaning we must raise $10 million by June 30, 2025, to fully capitalize on this extraordinary opportunity.
We are thrilled to have the Patterson Family Foundation join us in this transformative effort with a $2 million gift. Based in Kansas City, the Patterson Family Foundation is a family-led organization carrying forward the legacy of Neal and Jeanne Patterson. Guided by their mission to “work together to help rural communities thrive,” the Foundation invests in strategic grants and collaborative initiatives that benefit rural counties across Kansas and western Missouri.
This remarkable gift comes at a pivotal moment in our campaign and unlocks an additional $1 million in matching funds from the State of Kansas. With this contribution, we are proud to announce that we’ve reached 50% of our $17 million goal—a major milestone that highlights the shared passion and dedication of our supporters.
Thanks to this progress, we can now engage the architect to transition into the Design Development Phase for the new Education Center. This centerpiece of our campaign will be a hub for innovation, education, and inspiration, connecting Eisenhower’s legacy with future generations. Together, we are ensuring that Ike’s values and vision continue to inspire and guide the world.
The new Education Center will feature flexible learning spaces, including a recreation of Ike’s Oval Office.
