c o f f e e c u lt u r e I’m from Brazil and maybe for that reason I’m a passionate about coffee.

I love drinking coffee, but more than this, I love the coffee culture. I feel this universe is so amazing and bigger than I ever thought.

There are plenty of kinds of make a coffee, beans, flavors and history behind each process.

And when I came to the Gold Coast, as a good interior designer as I am (haha) I realized that

there’re so many amazing and wonderful coffee shops around here because Australian people have the “breakie culture” so they spend time drinking a good coffee and having a great breakfast with their family and friends on weekends or even with their colleagues.

So I’ll show a bit about the “Coffee Culture” throught a few coffee shops around me and of course about their Typefaces.

Using Libel Suite Font Family in your logo with a more conservative look without serifs and in color tones that refer to coffee tones

20 James Street, Burleigh Heads

The same way the shop match with the brand visual identity. For example, they have chosen to use wood in some elements to bring the conservative idea and comfy too.

They chose to use a clean and totally artistic visual identity in their logo.

They used the Morn font family and the golden color on

And in their products, they chose to remain sophisticated but with a high touch of modern art, which for me it looked wonderful and authentic!!

One think that really catch my attention was their shop. It is so cool as their identity. They worked with colours, materials, shapes and everything they judged necessary to the people who have been there feel as confortable as they appreciatte their coffee.

ST. ALi This one will be the most memorable ever. This cafe was already a reference when I was in Brazil and I had the opportunity to visit them in 2019 when I’ve been in Melbourne.

Their identity is totally minimalist even their products. They chose the Helvetica Now Display family font and their colors are black & white and some pastels on their products.

The shop is adorable I felt like I’ve been at home instead in a coffee shop. There are no rules for decoration and furnitures position, it looks like everything messy but organized. The only point is that the Brand hasn’t matched with the shop interior design but if we think separately it’s perfect.
