The installation of a Pre-Assembled columbarium or Ossuarium is convenient and easy. First, your memorial is made to order by talented artisans and craftsmen in our fabrication facility. Next, we deliver your memorial to your location, anywhere in the continental United States. Once on location, our expert team carefully installs your columbarium using a crane and crane operator (provided by you), allowing for minimal on-site construction or disturbance. It is truly that effortless.

Eickhof’s concealed locking hardware system offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance and requires minimal future maintenance. Access to the niches requires the Eickhof key wrench which provides security for families memorializing their loved ones.
OUR COLUMBARIA ARE PRE-ASSEMBLED
They are built in our manufacturing facility in northwestern Minnesota and delivered in one piece to your location on the Eickhof truck. We assist in setting your columbaria on your foundation.

It provides aesthetic appeal and keeps niches above grade. It also protects the memorial from maintenance equipment. It is fastened to the memorial itself, not relying on the concrete foundation for support. It requires no future maintenance to keep the base looking straight and neat.

EXPAND YOUR OFFERINGS WITH THE OSSUARIUM ®
Adding an ossuary (a common center vault) to your columbarium makes it an Ossuarium. The ossuary increases your overall urn capacity by creating a space for soft urns in addition to the traditional niches. See page 58 for more information on the Ossuarium.

Each row of niches that you add increases your memorial's urn capacity and ossuary capacity on the same footprint. This is a great way to maximize your available space.
The Ossuarium has companion niches exactly like our Pre-Assembled columbaria, but what makes it unique is the addition of an above ground ossuary. This provides an affordable interment option for those who do not desire a niche. It also offers a much larger return on investment than a columbarium, often nearly double.

Our convenient inscription service also includes Memorial Band inscriptions. Those who are put to rest inside the ossuary vault are memorialized by having their name, birth year, and death year inscribed on the Memorial Band.

Selecting an urn can be overwhelming and difficult for those grieving. Ultimately, families want to be confident that their choice honors their loved one and holds them safe and secure.
For those who manage the columbarium, trying to accommodate a menagerie of urn sizes can be exhausting as the confines of each niche are non-negotiable.
To alleviate stress for both parties we offer, and strongly recommend, sheet bronze urns. Selecting the sheet bronze urn as the standard urn for your memorial ensures that two urns will fit in each niche.* It also eliminates confusion and makes management effortless.
Fabricated from bronze sheet metal, the sheet bronze urn has a 212 cubic inch capacity. It accommodates more than 98% of cremated individuals.** Our 8" x 8" niches require the use of these sheet bronze urns and hold two horizontally. Our 12" x 12" niches hold two vertically.
*Other urns may fit, but we do not guarantee any urns other than the sheet bronze urn listed.

The sheet bronze urn measures 5.5" x 5.5" x 7". One case contains 12, but any amount can be ordered. At your request, each urn can be placed in a complimentary cardboard mailer (pictured below) for shipment to and from the crematory.

Lined with plush satin and a layer of batting, the Satin Urn creates a heavenly pillow-like look. Each includes a tassel closure in your color of choice and can be personalized with an embroidered inscription and emblem. Cremated remains are held safe and secure in an inner plastic liner.
GATEWAY URNS available in multiple colors
The Gateway Urn is a single layer velvet bag with a simple drawstring closure. It is easy to use and can be displayed upright or laid gently on its side. Personalize it with embroidered inscriptions and emblems to create a custom, yet cost-efficient inurnment option.
ISLAND

The Island Urn is an understated, yet effective standalone option for inurnment. The opaque plastic urn is affordable and discreetly holds cremated remains for no-fuss, no-frills interment. They measure 12" x 15" and are available in quantities of 10.

NICHE FRONT OPERATION
Our niche fronts are fastened with our patented, concealed, and locking hardware. It makes our columbaria the most secure on the market. The only way to open a niche is to utilize the provided Eickhof Key Wrench, shown below.
With one hand holding the front in place, insert the Key

With two hands, carefully tip the top of the niche front out towards you. Then firmly grip and lift up to remove.
Using the Key Wrench, turn the inner closure tab to a horizontal position to release the aluminum panel.
Once the aluminum panel is removed you have successfully accessed the niche interior (fits two sheet bronze urns).
Wrench in the joint and turn to release the front.
Grasp the edges of the aluminum panel, tip out, and then lift up to remove.
Once the niche front is removed the inner closure tab and aluminum panel are visible.

SLAB FOUNDATION FOR WARMER CLIMATES
FOUNDATION
Shown is a poured concrete reinforced slab foundation. This foundation is used in warmer climates where it is not required to have a footing below the average frost depth.
The top of the reinforced concrete slab is set at finished grade. Reinforcement must be used to keep the concrete slab in one piece if it were to shift or move. It also gives the added support required for the columbarium.

PIER FOUNDATION FOR COLDER CLIMATES
Shown is a concrete reinforced pier foundation. This foundation is used in colder climates where a footing below the frost depth is required or wherever soil conditions require a deep footing.
First, holes are augured into the ground. Then, heavy cardboard forms are placed into the holes, rebar is added, and concrete is poured. This reduces extensive excavation and minimizes disturbance of the entire site.

• A building board comprised of naturally occurring minerals. Eighty-five to ninetyfive percent of the board is made from portland cement and limestone with the balance being fibrous materials. It is noncombustible, moisture resistant, impact resistant, rot proof, and unaffected by mold, salt air, vermin, and insects.
