J.

is the Billion Dollar Lawyer

SUPERSTAR LAWYER DELIVERS OVER A BILLION DOLLARS IN RESULTS TO CLIENTS IN 4 YEARS, PHILANTHROPY TO THE COMMUNITY AND MENTORSHIP TO HIS PROFESSION thomasjhenrylaw.com

Thomas J. Henry is one of the country’s most well-known personal injury attorneys, and it’s more than just for his cases and billion dollars in judgements delivered for his Clients.

You might have seen him hanging out with A-list celebrities—like that time Cardi B and DJ Khaled performed at his birthday party—or when he sold his $7.5 million mansion in San Antonio to Utah Jazz player, Jordan Clarkson or at his multi-million dollar Superbowl suite in Las Vegas . . .

But when it comes to law, however, it’s easy to see why Henry is a standout.

With over 35 years of experience, and five offices across Texas, he knows how to win multi-million-dollar suits, verdicts, and settlements. As a personal injury expert, he has helped countless victims of trucking and auto accidents, hit-and-run cases, on the job accidents, and medical malpractice claims across the country, collecting over one billion dollars for clients in the past four years.

With a team of over 250 lawyers, his team is working on some of the nation’s most talked about cases, from the Astroworld tragedy in 2021, to the Camp Lejeune toxic water claims. He also represents victims of the Uvalde school shooting

where 19 students and two teachers were tragically killed, with at least 17 other children and adults injured. The news of this shook the nation. “The one thing that is vital in our country right now is ensuring our children go to school and come home safe,” said Henry. “We want to obtain justice for the families that have been devastated by this shooting and ensure we have swift changes that protect our children while they are at school.”

He was recognized as Attorney of the Year by Top 100 Lawyers for “Outstanding Achievement in Personal Injury and Mass Tort” in 2022. Thomas

INFLUENCERMAGAZINE.NEWS <<< 9

Henry was named one of the top 16 “most influential business icons” in Texas Monthly magazine’s 50th Anniversary Icons issue.

Henry has a knack for making headlines, has his work recognized in Forbes and Newsweek, and can be found posing in photos at high-profile global events (just look for the silver fox in a sharp, tailored suit). That is, of course, when he’s not starring in one of his slick, movie-level production commercials that deserve their own reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (let’s face it, some of his videos have garnered over a million views on YouTube, and yes, his Rolls Royce makes a James Bond-esque cameo).

In Texas, Henry is expanding his team in 2023 and has a proven track record of growing his workforce by 20% each year. Having devoted his entire career to passionately fighting for his clients, he represents each one with aggressiveness and dedication. Since starting his firm over 30 years ago, his leadership has expanded to work in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, Texas.

He describes his approach to cases as

“meticulous and methodical,” and the results speak for themselves. It’s easy to see why his law firm was named “Law Firm of the Year” by the American Institute of Legal Professionals in 2021. Today, his firm is the largest personalinjury firm in the state and is one of the largest legal employers of attorneys in the state of Texas.

With record breaking results and exponential growth, he is always working to train new lawyers for his ever-expanding team, acting as a mentor, boss, and visionary leader in law. Because of this, many of his top performers earn seven figure incomes, annually.

“With the size and scope of the law firm, success isn’t possible without the collaboration of many great professionals that have internalized our approach to the zealous representation of our clients,” says Henry.

INFLUENCERMAGAZINE.NEWS <<< 9
“We have established ourselves through the meticulous and methodical way we develop every case, and this approach has allowed us to achieve record breaking results year after year.”

Each law office under Thomas J. Henry is fully equipped with state-of-theart technology and case management systems, giving the attorneys that work there everything they need to provide excellent legal representation to injured clients across Texas and across the United States.

As one of the state’s largest employers, his law firm is a prime training ground

for lawyers to learn—and has even built a model courthouse to facilitate realistic trial training.

“These results, combined with our industry leading compensation packages garner a high level of attention from the legal community across the country,” he adds. “Our commitment is to continue to be selective so that we hire the best and brightest legal talent to best serve our clients.”

Outside of the courtroom, he has been called “one of the most influential Texas business icons of the past 50 years” by Texas Monthly, which has extensively covered his lavish lifestyle and philanthropic contributions. He is also an expert marketer, having brought a steely, upscale touch to marketing his firm, taking TV ad spots in the 1990s— long before law firm commercials were mainstream, making him and his firm a household name.

He has hosted some of the country’s most blinged out and talked about parties, which have been the talk of tabloids, like the Daily Mail, Page Six,

and The Sun. That’s not to mention his rise as a public figure for having hosted his own two-season reality TV show, called Hangin’ with los Henrys, which followed his jet set life. Don’t forget his firm’s 25th anniversary bash in 2018 had George Lopez, Maroon 5, Enrique Iglesias and Victoria’s Secret Models fly in for the soirée.

As a philanthropist, Henry is the main sponsor and curator of an immersive arts and music event, which grants $75,000 in awards to individual artists and art groups that support local artists in 2019. He has also donated money to countless universities and schools across Texas to help upgrade their technology in classrooms and support athletes. He has also helped feed the poor, having donated thousands of turkeys to small town families in southern Texas during Thanksgiving, year in, year out.

As a Texan business icon, his work still isn’t done yet. “I am proud and honored to serve so many people and families all over Texas for nearly 35 years,” he says. “Dedication to serving others has been my passion.”

CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY

THE NEW YORK WOMEN’S FOUNDATION

In celebration of Black History Month, The New York Women’s Foundation paid tribute to an exceptional group of women from diverse sectors of finance, reporting, government, law, education, and advocacy; women whose remarkable contributions have left an inerasable mark both in their respective fields and in their broader community for justice, equity, and empowerment. In addition to having an advertisement on 21 screens around the Oculus celebrating Black History Month, The New York Women’s Foundation held a Sip N’ See event in collaboration with our Grantee Partner Custom Collaborative to honor the changemakers of today.

Themed, “Looking back to look ahead” the idea of honoring the changemakers of today was inspired by the Sankofa bird in African tradition that serves as a reminder to look and embracing

From finance, journalism, government, and nonprofit, the fields represented by these women touch every sector, and their collective work in pursuit of justice is truly shaping New York City, not only for themselves but also for their communities and generations to come,” said Devika Gopal Agge, Senior Vice President of The New York Women’s Foundation.

Over the past decade the world experienced some dramatic events that included the election of a conservative government, racial reckonings, and the COVID-19 pandemic. During all these events, this overlooked population needed support and investment more than ever. Having The Fund meant, the ability to agilely support the organizations that provided strong leadership opportunities for girls, young women and youth of color and those which had a focus on collective advocacy for policy change. Moreover, the New York Women’s Foundation could use its participatory grantmaking approach to enable the Fund to create spaces for collaboration and shared learnings across organizations.

This week, members of our community gathered to celebrate Women’s History Month alongside our gracious host, the Shah Garg Foundation, and our partner Women of Culture. Together, we immersed ourselves in the Making Their Mark exhibition, a curated display featuring the works of over eighty artists from the Shah Garg Collection.

The evening was infused with the power of art and the spirit of solidarity as we came together to honor the incredible women artists whose work resonates deeply with social justice issues. In the words of Susan Sawyers, whose inspiration fueled this unforgettable event:

Art helps us connect across cultural differences, across generations, but also with ourselves so that we can better understand our shared values. This idea is consistent with The New York Women’s Foundation’s core belief that grantee partners have the ability to advocate and implement their own visions for the communities and society. Artists do too! ” “

DR. CHRISTINA RAHM — ROOTS OF MILITARY SCIENCE: UNDERSTANDING THE INTERSECTION OF CONFLICT, MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS

At a VIP reception held at the Hall of the National Guard Association in Washington DC, Dr. Christina Rahm launched her latest book, Roots of Military Science: Understanding the Intersection of conflict, mental health and wellness. Discussing the motivation behind her decision to tackle the subject, Dr. Rahm said, “As a research scientist, I have had the opportunity to study a variety of different domains throughout my professional career. The subject of Military science has long been of interest to me because I was able to find an international program based on learning and writing which was centered on critical thinking incorporating clinical science/research in various areas. This was of special interest to me because of the work I have done in various areas throughout my career and due to my international career, which has so far

entailed travelling to over 87 countries. Although My work internationally has been predominately focused on healthcare and environmental work, while operating in these areas there were many times where I have found myself in the middle of a war zone, whether it was Lebanon, Syria, Nigeria, Ethiopia, China, Ukraine, Russia or other countries. AND while I always prefer peace and resolution of disputes, I do understand that this is not always easily or quickly achievable.”

The Salon Series continued at the Southampton Inn featuring works in progress — scenes, stories, comedy and songs.

Hosted and produced by writer, comedian and Emmy award-winning producer Angela LaGreca it featured divorce monologues written by Joy Behar (award-winning comedian and co-host of ‘The View’) and performed by Behar, Academy-award-winning actress Mercedes Ruehl, and the surprise guest at the Salon was Grammy & Tony Nominated Actress/Singer Valisia LeKae. The monologues, crafted by Behar and based on interviews

she conducted with women about their lives leading up to divorce, were hilarious and moving. Lenny Babbish was the musical director.

The series is part of an ongoing effort to engage the community in the so-called

‘off season’. Judging by the smiles on the crowd that day, The Southampton Inn was the ‘in’ place to be. The event was sold out and featured light bites and cocktails. Attendees who wished to have dinner afterwards in town were able to enjoy a post-salon dinner special offered by Main Prospect and Le Charlot.
