Executive Summary

Our Mission We offer parents a great learning experience for their children and also growth and development in their character and faith. Our teachers are not only just professional musicians and teachers, they are also there to help your child feel welcome and more confident about themselves and build on their self esteem.

The Company Management 5:19 music is a private music program that teaches students how to play christian music. The company was founded in 2021 by Everett High School student Peter Cegobia ‘22. Peter has a passion for music and is very passionate about his religion. Combining his two passions, he decided to open a music school with a Christianity focus.

Our Services 5:19 Music offers a variety of plans from beginner to advanced. We also provide instruments to our students so they can join our program without worrying about any equipment.

Our top lessons Most of our students are interested in learning guitar, however we also teach: ● Piano lessons ● Drum lessons ● Harp lessons

The Market Across the United States, the music education industry is continuing to grow. However, music education with a worship/religion focus is a new concept, especially in Massachusetts.

Our Competitive Advantages While there are a few music programs in Massachusetts, we are the only program to provide all necessary equipment.

We clean and sanitize every instrument, including the woodwinds, so no cross contamination.

Start-up Financing Requirements We are looking for an operating line of $350,000 to finance our first-year growth.

Our Position in the Industry According to a Gallup Poll titled “American Attitudes Toward Music,” 71% of Americans believe that teengagers who play an instrument are less likely to have disciplinary problems. Also, the American Music Conference states that nine out of ten teenagers who play instruments agree that music brings the family closer together.

With this in mind, our main focus is on teaching students how to play instruments so that they fare better in and out of school, while also bringing families closer together. With an added focus on Christianity, we believe the songs and instruments we teach will enhance the familial bond.

The Competition Boston has a few music schools with the same hours as us, but no other school in the state focuses solely on Worship music or Christianity.

What Makes Us Unique At 5:19 Music we teach students how to play instruments, but what makes us different is how we try to get each student closer to God and learn to glorify his name through music.

Marketing Goals Goal #1: Gain More Members ● We think reaching out to more young individuals would help to increase sales ● Go out to local churches and give a demonstration of our school and show how we could get their child to play like a pro Goal #2: Increase Social Media Following ● We want to get the word out about our business and build a relationship with our members. Increasing our social media following will help us do this. ● We will increase our following by working to get shoutouts from friends, family and existing members. We will also post photos and videos every day to keep our customers up to date with everything going on.

We will focus on customer satisfaction not only for our students, but their families as well. ● We will accomplish this by treating our students like we would our own kids and make them feel confident in themselves and have them leaving with a smile on their face and making sure the parents feel confident in leaving their children with us to learn to play. We will also implement a feedback system, where parents can tell us how we’re doing.

PLACE: Our facility is based around the Boston area where we have 1 location because we want it to be more of a family feel rather than some big major corporation that has multiple locations
