Industry Overview The Bakery Industry According to Chron, the baking industry generates more than $30 billion in revenue each year.

This includes 6,000 retail bakeries and nearly 3,000 commercial bakeries. Small bakery retailers are highly fragmented, accounting for 55 percent of total commercial bakery revenue. The American Bakers Association reports that the impact of baked goods economically, produced and sold in the U.S. totals to $423 billion. The market of baked goods is expected to grow around one percent per annum.

Our Position In The industry In Massachusetts there are many places, whether it be stores or restaurants, with inadequate customer service. We want to create a place and environment where customers can come in and feel safe and satisfied with our service. Our bakery offers what other places do not, which is guaranteed non-judgmental and fun service to our customers to promise a safe and nice experience. At Muffin Man we strive to create an environment where customers can come and order affordable treats without feeling anxious or scared to do so.

The Competition While there are many bakeries in Everett, MA only one offers somewhat of the same service we do, Elm Street Bakery.

What Makes Us Unique We make sure that all customers come into our store without fear or anxiety to order, especially those who suffer from social anxiety or anxiety in general. We know of the struggles some customers go through while ordering or thinking about ordering, while knowing that, we want to create a safe place for them to come.

Not only that, we want to add more and do more for our business with the mindset to please our customers and make our bakery a better place for them to enjoy. ❖ We will do that by ensuring customers spread the word and by expanding through different platforms and social media, we will see what our customers see fit for our bakery and what they like and enjoy and add to that.

Goal #2: Reach out to different Communities ❖ Our goal is to reach out to different communities because while doing so not only are we spreading the word about our business and service we are offering people what we want to offer them, a safe and fun environment in our bakery. ❖ We will achieve this by reaching out to people of different communities and spreading the word of our business and collabing.

Goal #3: Go international ❖ Our goal is to expand through social media, platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and more then eventually expand internationally. We want to reach out to as many people as possible to provide our service to them. ❖ We will achieve this by ensuring our name gets out there through different social media platforms as well as making a website including different languages for people to understand and know of our business, we will also study the different cultures and adjust to different environments for our customers.

Marketing Mix PRODUCT: At Muffin Man, we offer many types of baked goods. With a focus on customer service, we’re not only selling delicious treats, but also an amazing experience.

Some of our products include: ● Lava Cake ● Brownies ● Cheesecake Our most profitable product: ● Our donuts are our most profitable product, with customers often choosing a variety of donuts. Flavors include: chocolate cake donuts, Strawberry, Caramel, hazelnut, and more.

Our signature product: ● Our churros are our signature product, which are available in many options including flavors and fillings.

PRICE: We set prices based on how much time and effort is put into making a certain dessert.

PROMOTION: We plan to promote through social media, platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok and offer people samples of our desserts.

PLACE: We can increase the appeal of our merchandise by making sure the clothing and cloth are comfortable and soft to appeal to customers. Walk in-customers are welcome and we do offer delivery, to ensure customers have options.
