▪ Afrikaans - Mrs Dorene Bouillon and Mrs Dené Lourens

▪ English - Ms Thuli Nyuswa

▪ LO and EMS - Ms Marguerite van der Merwe

▪ Maths – Ms Deirdré Button

▪ Interns: Ms Lona Nkewu, Ms Lizmari Hanekom and Ms Annika Saayman

Find out what they had to say after their first term:

MsDuvenage:“Joining Eunice has been the best decision I have made. Not just because it is a wonderful school to work at, but also because it has brought back the passion I have for teaching. I am teaching learners who REALLY WANT to become the best versions of themselves and change the world for others.”

MrsBouillon:“My experience at Eunice has been very positive. The school community is warm and caring. From the first day I felt included and part of the school. The learners as well as the staff are very helpful and friendly. I feel part of the Eunice family.”

MrsLourens:“My first term at Eunice has been an eye-opening experience. I am still in awe of the friendly staff and of course the ladies in green. It is amazing to work with eager learners who are dedicated to their schoolwork. I have learned a lot about myself, how to handle pressure and how to succeed. Eunice is definitely a place where everyone can grow, if they embrace their opportunities.”

MsNyuswa:“Every day has presented a new opportunity for me to be a better version of myself. Every challenge I have faced has taught me a valuable lesson and I've grown so much in a very short space of time. My first term at Eunice has been nothing short of amazing.”

MsvanderMerwe: “"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall". It has been such a wonderful and intense experience to work at Eunice. There are new challenges every day and I look forward to continuing my journey!

MsButton:“My first term at Eunice has been very exciting and very busy. I am so blessed to be a part of such an amazing community! The spirit in this school is something to behold. The young ladies, who make Eunice so dear, are a privilege to teach. There has not been one day where I have left this beautiful school without a smile on my face.”

Dressed for success

Reflect on your attitude.

The whole idea of looking good and taking pride in your appearance is about showing that you care, and make an effort in whatever it is you’re participating in.

It will also increase your confidence.

Looking good on the outside and feeling healthy on the inside will only have positive reactions to your mind. This, in turn, will make you feel confident. It’s an extremely automatic process because the connection our mind has with our heart and body is strong. To be confident, is about looking confident and feeling confident.

Making the most out of your time

It only takes mere seconds to form a first impression. These mere seconds are still time you’re giving up, so make the most out of it. Taking pride in your appearance also means valuing your time, space, beliefs, and understanding who you are as a person. You value you.

Taking pride in your appearance isn’t being vain. It’s about looking good, feeling good, and behaving in the best way possible. (TNT Magazine)
