SCHECK HILLEL COMMUNITY SCHOOL
ANNUAL
REPORT 2025 -2026
MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCHOOL A Year Grounded in What We Stand For: From Values to Impact Dear Scheck Hillel Families, As we reflect on the 2025–2026 school year, I am struck not only by what our students accomplished, but by what those accomplishments say about the education they are receiving and the community that makes it possible. This Annual Report offers a transparent look at our financial health and, more importantly, at what your generosity makes possible every day. We ask a great deal of our students. We want them to be strong thinkers, serious learners, and confident leaders. We want them to be prepared for college and what comes next. But we also want something more lasting: for them to leave Scheck Hillel knowing who they are, feeling deeply connected to the Jewish people and Israel, and understanding that their success carries a responsibility to others. This year gave us many reasons to feel confident in that work. We welcomed 133 new students while reaching record re-enrollment, reflecting the trust families place in this community. In an independent survey conducted by Prizmah, a leading network for Jewish day schools, 95% of families said Scheck Hillel cultivates a deep connection to Israel, and 91% a love of Jewish learning. Those results reflect the trust families place in a school committed to both academic excellence and Jewish identity, and in the community that sustains it. What gives this school its strength is the community behind it. Your involvement and philanthropy allow us to invest in exceptional educators, student experiences, campus safety and more. This year, Annual Lion Fund family participation grew from 33% to 41%, another sign of a community increasingly invested in our school’s future. The financial information that follows reflects the stewardship behind this work. But behind every number is a teacher inspiring a student, a child discovering what they are capable of, a family finding its place at Scheck Hillel and another generation growing up proud to be Jewish. As we look ahead, I hope every family will continue to see themselves as a partner in that future. Your support allows Scheck Hillel to sustain and strengthen what makes this school special for today’s students and the generations that follow. Thank you for believing in Scheck Hillel and for continuing to build its future with us. L’Shalom,
Rabbi Ari Leubitz Head of School
