مصادر:استمرار العاملٌن بمكاتب مصر للطٌران بقطر لمساعدة الركاب محمد عبدالناصر أعلنت مصادر مطلعة بشركة مصر للطٌران الٌوم الثالثاء إستمرار أطقم العاملٌن بمكاتب ومحطة الشركة فى قطر لحٌن إشعار آخر مع اإلتصال بركاب رحالت الشركة من وإلى الدوحة لتغٌٌر تذاكرهم إلى الوجهات التى ٌرغبون فٌها. وقالت المصادر :سٌمارس أطقم العاملٌن بمكاتب مبٌعات مصر للطٌران فى قطر عملهم لتغٌٌر تذاكر سفر الركاب الحاجزٌن على رحالت العودة للسفر إلى أٌة جهة أخرى غٌر القاهرة بعد وقف الرحالت بٌن مصر وقطر ،بٌنما سٌتنظر طاقم محطة الشركة بمطار حمد الدولى بالدوحة لحٌن وصول تعلٌمات بمغادرتهم األراضى القطرٌة وأن الشركة إتصلت بكل ركاب رحالتها من وإلى قطر بداٌة من الرحالت التى ألغٌت من الٌوم الثالثاء حٌث تنظم الشركة رحلتٌن ٌومٌا بٌن مطارى القاهرة والدوحة وتغٌٌر تذاكر سفرهم للتوجه إلى أٌة وجهة أو مدٌنة دون سداد أٌة غرامات حٌث سٌتم توفٌر المقاعد الالزمة لهم للسفر ترانزٌت إلى أٌة دولة قرٌبة من قطر للتوجه منها إلى الدوحة حٌث تحتل الكوٌت وسلطنة عمان وتركٌا الصدارة فى الراغبٌن فى التوجه إلى قطر عن طرٌقها. وكانت مصر قد بدأت الٌوم الثالثاء بالتعاون مع اإلمارات والسعودٌة والبحرٌن فى وقف حركة الطٌران مع قطر وحظر عبور الطائرات القطرٌة األجواء الخاصة بها ضمن قرار قطع العالقات مع قطر.

مصادر مالحٌة مصرٌة :مطارات الكوٌت وسلطنة عمان األقرب لحركة السفر بٌن مصر وقطر كتب ــ محمد عبدالناصر أعلنت مصادر مالحٌة مصرٌة أن مطارى مسقط بسلطنة عمان والكوٌت هما األقرب لحركة السفر بٌن مصر وقطر خالل الفترة القادمة بعد وقف كل الرحالت بٌن القاهرة والدوحة إلى جانب وجود بعض المطارات األخرى البعٌدة نسبٌا . وقالت المصادر إن بعد وقف حركة الطٌران بٌن مصر وقطر توجد بعض نقاط الترانزٌت التى ٌمكن أن ٌتبعها المسافرون بٌن مصر وقطر خالل فترة الحظر المفروض على حركة الطٌران بٌن البلدٌن من أقربها مطار الكوٌت سواء السفر على الخطوط الكوٌتٌة أو مصر للطٌران ثم ترانزٌت على الخطوط القطرٌة أو الكوٌتٌة حٌث أن حركة الطٌران بٌن البلدٌن مستمرة ولم تتوقف إلى جانب مطار مسقط فى سلطنة عمان حٌث لم تقطع السلطنة مثل الكوٌت العالقات أو فرض حظر على الطٌران القطرى كما توجد محطات ترانزٌت أخرى مثل لبنان أو تركٌا وتوقعت المصادر أن تزٌد حركة الركاب بٌن مصر وكل من الكوٌت ومسقط لٌكون متنفسا لحركة الركاب بٌن مصر وقطر وخدمة الجالٌة المصرٌة التى تبلغ حوالى 300ألف مصرى هناك لحٌن التوصل إلى حل لألزمة وقالت المصادر :من المتوقع أٌضا أن تزٌد تكلفة السفر على الراغبٌن فى مواصلة الحركة بٌن مصر وقطر عبر مطار ثالث ترانزٌت.

اسرائٌل تعلن استمرار التعاون مع الخطوط القطرٌة كتبه :سامح النقٌب أعلنت شركة ‖أركٌع― اإلسرائٌلٌة أن التعاون التجاري مع الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة لن ٌتوقف على خلفٌة قرار دول خلٌجٌة ومصر قطع العالقات مع قطر ووقف الرحالت الجوٌة بٌن البلدٌن. وأوضحت شركة الطٌران اإلسرائٌلٌة‖ ،أركٌع― () ،arkiaأن اتفاق التعاون مع الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة لن ٌتؤثر فً هذه المرحلة باألزمة السٌاسٌة فً الخلٌج ،وأن االتفاق قائم دون أي تغٌٌر. ٌذكر أن دول خلٌجٌة على رأسها السعودٌة ،ومصر ،أقدمت على خطوة استثنائٌة فً عالقاتها مع قطر ،مصعدة احتجاجها على السٌاسة الخارجٌة لدولة قطر ،بقطع العالقات معها .وٌشمل القرار قطع العالقات التجارٌة وغلق المجال الجوي لهذه الدول أمام قطر. وكانت شركة ― أركٌع― قد أبرمت اتفاقا تعاونٌا مع شركة الخطوط القطرٌة عام ٌ ،2005تٌح للمسافرٌن اإلسرائٌلٌٌن السفر مع القطرٌة من مدٌنة الرنكا فً قبرص ،إلى وجهات عدٌدة فً الشرق األقصى. وتظهر على موقع الشركة اإلسرائٌلٌة معلومات هذا التعاون الذي تنقل بموجبه أركٌع المسافرٌن اإلسرائٌلٌٌن إلى الرنكا ومن هناك ٌواصلون رحلتهم إلى الدوحة ،عاصمة قطر ،ومن ثم إلى الشرق األقصى.

قطع العالقات الدبلوماسٌة مع قطر ٌكبد شركات الطٌران خسائر بالمالٌٌن ..تؤخٌر العدٌد من الرحالت الجوٌة نتٌجة اتخاذ طرق جوٌة بعٌدة ..استخدام مطارات الكوٌت ومسقط وبغداد للسفر والعودة من الدوحة ..وإٌران البوابة الرئٌسة لعبور الطائرات القطرٌة محمود حسنجاء قرار قطع العالقات الدبلوماسٌة بٌن القاهرة والدوحة ،أمس اإلثنٌن ،بسبب التجاوزات والممارسات التً تنتهجها قطر ضد الدولة المصرٌة ،وتدعٌمها للتنظٌمات اإلرهابٌة ،ومنها جماعة اإلخوان المسلمٌن ،بما ٌمس وٌضر األمن القومً المصري. وترتب على قرار قطع العالقات إٌقاف الحركة الجوٌة بٌن البلدٌن نتٌجة لغلق المجال الجوي المصري أمام الطائرات القطرٌة ،أو حتى عبورها له ،والتنبٌه على دول الجوار بعدم السماح لطائرات شركة الخطوط القطرٌة بدخول المجال الجوي فً حالة الطوارىء أٌضا. وتعتبر قطر إحدى الدول العربٌة ،التً ٌتواجد بها الكثٌر من العمالة المصرٌة ،والتً قدرت بؤكثر من 350ألف مصري ٌعملون فً معظم الشركات القطرٌة ،وٌستخدم معظمهم شركات الطٌران للسفر بٌن البلدٌن لقضاء اإلجازات الموسمٌة. وبعد قطع العالقات ،وما ترتب علٌه من غلق المجال الجوى بٌنهما ،توجد بعض مدن "الترانزٌت" ،والتً من الممكن أن ٌستخدمها المسافرون بٌن مصر وقطر ،خالل فترة الحظر المفروض على حركة الطٌران بٌن البلدٌن من أقربها مطار الكوٌت سواء السفر على الخطوط الكوٌتٌة أو مصر للطٌران ثم "ترانزٌت" ،على الخطوط القطرٌة أو الكوٌتٌة ،وأن حركة الطٌران بٌن البلدٌن مستمرة ،ولم تتوقف إلى جانب مطار مسقط فً سلطنة عمان ،حٌث لم تقطع سلطنة عمان مثل الكوٌت العالقات أو فرض حظر على الطٌران القطرى ،وٌعتبر مطاري مسقط بسلطنة عمان والكوٌت هما األقرب لحركة السفر بٌن مصر وقطر خالل الفترة المقبلة ،بعد وقف كل الرحالت بٌن القاهرة والدوحة إلى جانب وجود بعض المطارات األخرى البعٌدة نسبٌا.

وأضاف المصدر" ،أنه من المتوقع أن تزٌد حركة الركاب بٌن مصر وكل من الكوٌت سا لحركة الركاب بٌن مصر وقطر وخدمة الجالٌة ومسقط لٌكون منف ُذا ومتنف ً المصرٌة ،التً تبلغ حوالً 350ألف مصري هناك ،لحٌن التوصل إلى حل لألزمة. ضا أن تزٌد تكلفة السفر على الراغبٌن فً مواصلة واستكمل" :كما من المتوقع أٌ ً الحركة بٌن مصر وقطر عبر مطار ثالث ترانزٌت. وأشار المصدر المالحً إلى أن الخطوط القطرٌة المتجهة إلى بٌروت والقادمة من لندن ونٌروبً أول الرحالت التً طبق علٌها قرار حظر المرور فً األجواء البحرٌنٌة والسعودٌة والمصرٌة ،حٌث تكبدت الشركة خسائر بالمالٌٌن فً الساعات األولى من الحظر. وأضاف المصدر أنه بمتابعة حركة الطائرات فً أجواء المنطقة ،والتً تم فٌها تنفٌذ قرار حظر عبور الطائرات القطرٌة فً أجواء مملكة البحرٌن والمملكة العربٌة السعودٌة واإلمارات ومصر ،مما كان له التؤثٌر السًء على حركة الطائرات القطرٌة مشٌرا إلى ان ثالث رحالت خاصة التً تمر فً أجواء البحرٌن والسعودٌة ومصر، ً للخطوط القطرٌة فً الساعات األولى من صباح الٌوم هً ضحاٌا قرار الحظر ،حٌث تؤخرت ساعة بسبب اتباع طرق جوٌة بعٌدة عن األجواء المحظورة . وواصل ،أن رحلة رقم 624والمتجهة إلى بٌروت اتبعت المجال الجوي للخلٌج ثم إٌران وتركٌا والبحر المتوسط ثم لبنان ،وتسببت هذه الرحلة فً تؤخر الطائرة ساعة كاملة ،بٌنما اتبعت رحلة الخطوط القطرٌة رقم 1342والقادمة من نٌروبً المجال الجوي اإلثٌوبً والصومالً وخلٌج عدن ،ثم سلطنة عمان والخلٌج العربً و إٌران، ثم العودة إلى الخلٌج العربً ودخول المجال الجوي القطري،وتسبب ذلك فً تؤخرها ساعة أٌضا.

وتابع أن رحلة رقم 16والقادمة من لندن اتبعت طرٌقا عبر تركٌا ثم إٌران والخلٌج العربً حتى هبوطها بالدوحة ،وتسبب ذلك أٌضا فً تؤخٌرها حوالً ساعة وتقدر الخسائر فً الساعات األولى بعدة مالٌٌن حٌث أن تكلفة قٌمة الرحالت زادت بحد كبٌر. واضاف المصدر" :أن قرار غلق األجواء الجوٌة لدول البحرٌن والسعودٌة واإلمارات ومصر أمام الطائرات القطرٌة ،ستكون آثاره كارثٌة على الخطوط القطرٌة ،وأن إٌران ستكون البوابة الوحٌدة لها مع دول العالم. وقالت مصادر " :إنه من المقرر أن تزٌد تكلفة الرحالت بعد زٌادة المسافة بٌن مطار الدوحة ومطارات العالم ،حٌث كانت الطائرات القطرٌة تعبر بعد إقالعها من مطار "حمد " الدولً بالدوحة من أجواء البحرٌن والمملكة العربٌة السعودٌة ومصر فً الرحالت المتوجهة إلى شمال أفرٌقٌا وأوروبا. وأشار المصدر إلى أن إٌران ستعد البوابة الوحٌدة لقطر نحو أوروبا وشمال إفرٌقٌا والوالٌات المتحدة ،حٌث ستعبر من خالل األجواء اإلٌرانٌة إما إلى العراق ثم األردن وفلسطٌن والبحر المتوسط أو إٌران ثم تركٌا إلى المتوسط وأوروبا ،وهذا ٌساعد على زٌادة المسافة وارتفاع تكلفة الرحالت مما ٌكلف الخطوط القطرٌة خسائر كبٌرة إلى جانب خسارتها األكبر من توقف رحالتها إلى اإلمارات والبحرٌن والسعودٌة ومصر ،كما ستفقد قطر إحدى المزاٌا الكبٌرة التى تسببت فً زٌادة عدد الركاب الترانزٌت والعابرٌن عبر مطار "حمد" الدولً بالدوحة ،حٌث استقبل المطار خالل العام الماضى ما ٌزٌد عن 35ملٌون راكب. وكانت الممكلة العربٌة السعودٌة والبحرٌن واإلمارات ومصر ولٌبٌا قرروا أمس اإلثنٌن قطع العالقات الدبلوماسٌة مع قطر نتٌجة الممارسات التً تمارسها قطر ضدهم ،بسبب تدعٌمها للتنظمٌات اإلرهابٌة بما ٌمس مصالح األمن القومً لتلك الدول ،حٌث تم إغالق جمٌع المنافذ البرٌة والبحرٌة والجوٌة أمام الشركات القطرٌة، باإلضافة إلى ترحٌل المواطنٌٌن القطرٌٌن بتلك الدول خالل فترة زمنٌة محددة.

أعلنت مصادر مالحٌة مصرٌة ،أن سلطات الطٌران المدنى أصدرت إعال ًنا إلى كل الدول المجاورة والمنطقة بمنع عبور الطائرات القطرٌة سواء للركاب أو البضائع أو خاصة ،فى األجواء المصرٌة بداٌة من فجر غد، الثالثاء. وقالت المصادر ،إنه فى الحاالت الطارئة والمتعلقة بالحركة الجوٌة ٌتم إصدار ‖إعالنات طٌارٌن― بؤهم التعلٌمات الخاصة لشركات الطٌران والدول المجاورة ،وتضمن اإلعالن الذى صدر منذ قلٌل التنبٌه على كل الدول سواء المجاورة مباشرة أو اإلقلٌمٌة بحظر توجٌه الطائرات القطرٌة سواء الركاب أو البضائع أو الخاصة أو تعمل فى شركات أخرى ولكن بحروف تسجٌل قطرٌة والتى تبدأ بـ ،A7حٌث سٌمنع السماح لها بالعبور من األجواء المصرٌة ولحٌن إشعار آخر؛ تنفٌذا لقرار الحكومة بوقف رحالت الطٌران بٌن مصر وقطر وغلق األجواء المصرٌة.

اٌران تعلن عن فتح المجال الجوى للطٌران القطرى كتبه :سامح النقٌب فى إطار ممارستها االستفزازٌة للعرب ،أكد مسئول إٌرانى على أن خطوط الطٌران القطرٌة ستعبر من اآلن وصاعدا األجواء اإلٌرانٌة نحو أوروبا وأفرٌقٌا ،وأنه سٌتم فتح المجال الجوى اإلٌرانى أمام الطائرات القطرٌة. وبحسب وكالة مهر ،قال المسئول فً شركة المطارات اإلٌرانٌة أن الطرٌق الوحٌد لعبور الطٌران القطرى هو سماء إٌران ،ما سٌرفع دخل البالد من رسوم الطائرات القطرٌة التى سوف تعبر األجواء اإلٌرانٌة. وأوضح أن المجال الجوى اإلٌرانى ٌشهد ٌومٌا عبور 955طائرة ،ومع فرض الحصار على قطر ٌتوقع إضافة 200رحلة للخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة ،األمر الذى ٌرفع من دخل البالد. وأضاف إن أغلب الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة المتجهة نحو شمال أفرٌقٌا وجنوب أوروبا كانت تعبر سابقا عبر األجواء السعودٌة ثم مصر ،إال أن إغالق هذٌن البلدٌن أجوائهما أمام قطر أدى إلى تغٌٌر مسٌر طائرات الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة لتعبر من إٌران نحو العراق ثم األردن ثم شمال أفرٌقٌا. وتابع المسئول اإلٌرانى أن رحالت الخطوط الجوٌة القطرٌة المتجهة إلى وسط أوروبا وشمالها واألطلسى الشمالى كانت تعبر من البحرٌن نحو الكوٌت ثم العراق ثم تركٌا ثم إلى شمال أوروبا ،لكن أجبر الطٌران القطرى على العبور من سماء إٌران نحو تركٌا.

اكد باسم عبد الكرٌم المستشار اإلعالمً لوزارة الطٌران المدنً بان الوزارة قد أصدرت قرارا بوقف جمٌع الرحالت الجوٌة بٌن مصر و قطر وغلق االجواء المصرٌة امام الطائرات القطرٌة المسجلة بالطٌران المدنً القطري سواء بالعبور او الهبوط وٌبدا العمل بهذا القرار اعتبارا من ٌوم الثالثاء الموافق 6/6/2017الساعة الرابعة فجرا بالتوقٌت العالمً الساعة السادسة صباحا بتوقٌت القاهرة والى اجل غٌر مسمً . وٌاتى هذا القرار فى اعقاب اعالن حكومة جمهورٌة مصر العربٌة صباح الٌوم قطع العالقات الدبلوماسٌة بٌن مصر و قطر .

وفقا لقائمة أفضل الشركات والمطارات العالمٌة.. لماذا جاء مطار القاهرة ومصر للطٌران خارج «نادى المائة»؟ أشـرف الحدٌـدى أثارت نتائج التصنٌف السنوى لمإسسة سكاى تراكس العالمٌة ألفضل مائة شركة طٌران ومطار فى العالم لعام 2017وخروج مطار القاهرة ومصر للطٌران من قائمة «نادى المائة» العدٌد من التساإالت حول «تراجع ترتٌب» المطارات المصرٌة ومصر للطٌران عربٌا وإفرٌقٌا وعالمٌا ،فقد جاءت النتائج لتشٌر الى وجود ثالث شركات عربٌة ضمن المراكز العشرة األولى ألفضل شركات طٌران عالمٌة حٌث جاءت طٌران اإلمارات فى المركز األول عالمٌا ،وطٌران االتحاد سادسا ،كما جاءت شركات عربٌة وافرٌقٌة ضمن نادى المائة منها شركة الطٌران العمانٌة التى جاءت فى المركز الـ 42واإلثٌوبٌة 76وطٌران الخلٌج بالمركز الـ 80والخطوط السعودٌة فى المركز الـ 82والخطوط الملكٌة األردنٌة فى المركز .99 كما جاءت النتائج لتحمل مفاجؤة أٌضا بخروج مطار القاهرة من تصنٌف أفضل مائة مطار فى العالم ،بٌنما وجدنا مطارات عربٌة داخل هذا التصنٌف ..فقد احتل مطار «حمد الدولً» المركز السادس ومطار دبى فى المركز الـ ،20ومطار أبو ظبى الـ ،49ومطار البحرٌن الـ ،57فٌما جاء مطار كٌب تاون الجنوب أفرٌقى فى المركز الـ 19عالمٌا واألول إفرٌقٌا. وألن مطار القاهرة ومصر للطٌران وعلى مدار السنوات الماضٌة لم ٌتمكنا من دخول قائمة مإسسة «سكاى تراكس» التى تعد من أكبر المإسسات العالمٌة لتصنٌف المطارات وشركات الطٌران ..فإننا نجدد مطالبة المسئولٌن بضرورة دراسة األسباب التى أدت الى خروجهما من هذا التصنٌف والعمل سرٌعا على استعادة مكانتهما عالمٌا مهما تكن األسباب التى نقدرها ونعرفها جمٌعا من أن مصر للطٌران مرت بظروف وأوضاع صعبة من حٌث انخفاض حركة الركاب أو حجم الخسائر المالٌة التى تعرضت لها عقب ثورة 25 ٌناٌر 2011إال أن ذلك ال ٌمكن أن ٌكون مبررا لخروجها من تصنٌف أفضل مائة شركة طٌران فى العالم هذا العام ألن هذا التصنٌف ال ٌعتمد فقط على حجم الحركة الجوٌة لشركات الطٌران أو حجم اسطولها الجوي ،ولكنه ٌتم بناء على تنوع شبكة الخطوط والخدمات المقدمة للمسافرٌن فى المطارات والطائرات وهى نقاط ٌجب أن تجعل مصر للطٌران داخل نادى المائة ولٌست خارجه! ..ومن هنا البد من تقٌٌم الموقف من جانب مسئولى مصر للطٌران بصورة كاملة من حٌث مستوى الخدمات على الطائرات أو خدمات الركاب فى مختلف المطارات التى تصل إلٌها الشركة ..أٌضا مسئولو مطار القاهرة مطالبون بضرورة دراسة األسباب التى أدت لخروج مطار القاهرة الدولى من التصنٌف المئوى ألفضل مطارات العالم والعمل سرٌعا على استعادة مكانته بٌن المطارات العالمٌة مهما تكن األسباب أٌضا ألن هذا التصنٌف ال ٌعتمد فقط على حجم الحركة الجوٌة ،ولكنه ٌشمل الخدمات التى ٌقدمها المطار للمسافرٌن ،بدءا من دخول المطار واإلجراءات األمنٌة به وخطوات والمدة الزمنٌة إلنهاء إجراءات السفر والوصول واالنتقال السلس بٌن مبانى المطار ووسائل الترفٌه والخدمات واألسواق الحرة وهى نقاط ٌجب دراستها جٌدا.. ونحن إذ نطالب المسئولٌن ببحث هذه األسباب بجدٌة ال نؤمل سوى استعادة مصر للطٌران ومطار القاهرة وبقٌة المطارات المصرٌة الدولٌة مكانتها عالمٌا بٌن شركات الطٌران ومطارات العالم بما ٌلٌق مكانة مصر فى مجال النقل الجوى وذلك بمزٌد من الجهد والعمل من العاملٌن الذٌن نثق فى كفاءتهم وإخالصهم وقدراتهم. أما إذا رأى المسئولون ان هذا التصنٌف غٌر مإثر ..فهذا أمر آخر ٌحتاج الى توضٌح!!

وزٌر الطٌران فى البرلمان األسبوع المقبل لكشف أسباب عدم افتتاح مطار النزهة كتب محمد مجدى السٌسى
قالت سحر طلعت مصطفى رئٌسة لجنة السٌاحة والطٌران المدنى بالبرلمان ،إن اللجنة ستناقش طلبات إحاطة ُمقدمة لها بشؤن عدم افتتاح مطار النزهة حتى اآلن بالرغم من االنتهاء من تطوٌره وتجهٌزه، بحضور شرٌف فتحى وزٌر الطٌران المدنى. وأضاف "طلعت مصطفى" فى تصرٌح لـ"الٌوم السابع" ،أن اللجنة ستناقش أٌضا ً قرار رئٌس الجمهورٌة رقم 205لسنة ،2017بشؤن الموافقة على إتفاق خطوط جوٌة منتظمة بٌن حكومتى جمهورٌة مصر العربٌة ودولة المجر ،والموقع فى ٌ 1ونٌه .2016 وأشارت رئٌسة اللجنة ،إلى أن اللجنة ستناقش فى اجتماع آخر لها، مشروع قانون ُمقدم من النائب محمد فإاد بشؤن إنشاء نقابة للطٌارٌن المدنٌٌن.

EgyptAir celebrating 85 Years of success with advertising failure Egyptian National Airline ―EgyptAir‖ is celebrating 85 years of service this year and have released a new advertisement to celebrate. The ad tagline chosen to celebrate their anniversary as ―flying from the heart of Egypt, to the heart of the world.‖ The company, established in 1932, was one of the world‘s pioneer airlines and became the seventh carrier in the world. MisrAir, its original name, was originally created to serve local flights but soon became an international airline, sending planes across the world. This year, they celebrate their 85th birthday with an ad targeted solely to Egyptians. Slow launch on Digital Media Unfortunately, the advert isn‘t doing so well on many fronts. The ad, released yesterday, has already been put on the naughty list of many marketers this season due to its many faults. The international airline‘s newest advertising spot has received a few attention and hence digital interaction, 41k within 24 hours. The ad which focuses on the airline‘s abilities to reach any spot worldwide, with its symbolic Horus themed airplanes slowly making its way through famous cities and landmarks such as Paris and London. Along with the silly thought that a plane could make its way through the tight and crowded spaces of major metropolitan cities, the ad‘s special effects and art quality seem to have not been strongly looked over. While the video can be found in HD on YouTube, the airline‘s Facebook video of the ad has been reduced in quality, becoming closer to something like 240P, rather than its HD counterpart which is 720P. For sharp-eyed viewers, many can see popular stock videos being used in the ad. The plane sticks out as it is put in locations, such as the beaches it is shown to be on and in certain streets it passes.

The ad fails to launch what could have been a great anniversary due to its weak idea and weak implementation. Failure to reach a wider audience Egyptair‘s biggest failure comes in the form of its song and message. Rather than focusing on improving future branding and relations with international consumers, Egyptair has decided to aim towards consumers in its local market. why?! Egyptair‘s new ad is focused exclusively on Egyptian consumers, but the airline is losing an important opportunity with its celebration of 85 years. While it is important to improve relationships at home for many brands, an international airline should be aiming towards the future rather its current local market which is going through bad times. For service companies, it has always been important to emphasize the amount of years it has been working as a way of proving authority due to age and continued service. Although many millennials do not trust this strategy, the majority of the world continues to choose experiences and well-established companies for travel. By making the song in Arabic, the airline has blocked off the path for international consumers to watch or understand the video. In a time in which the airline is publicly stating their high losses due to economic issues, it is a strange time to be picky with their target audience. The advert could have easily been used to improve the brand‘s branding efforts in international communities. As to why they chose to specifically focus on a market they already have a strong hand one, being the main airline of Egypt, we may never know. With its tagline ―From the heart of Egypt, to the heart of the world,‖ If we think of Egypt as the heart of the world, EgyptAir tagline is taking us in a small route that starts in Cairo and ends somewhere in Egypt with zero chance for international exposure!

Royal Air Maroc Cargo and Etihad Airways Cargo signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of their cargo activities on 29 May 2017 in Casablanca. This Memorandum instates their mutual intent to enhance their commercial cooperation. The networks of these two airlines are complementary and allow for the development of commercial synergies. It‘s worth noting that RAM Cargo carries daily cargo from Abu Dhabi to the Americas via Casablanca.

China Airlines retires its last Airbus A340-300
China Airlines has retired the Airbus A340-300 aircraft from service. The type operated its last flight on the Hong KongTaipei route 31 May, says the carrier in response to queries made by FlightGlobal. The SkyTeam member goes on to say that it is "actively looking for buyers in the market" to acquire the aircraft, either for use by other operators or as spare parts. It adds that services previously operated by the A340-300s are now operated by A350-900s. Flight Fleets Analyzer showed that China Airlines once operated six A340-300s. The first of five aircraft on direct order with Airbus (MSN 402) was delivered in April 2001, the last in July 2003 (MSN 541). A sixth aircraft (MSN 528) was leased from Boeing Aircraft Holding Co for four years from October 2003 to July 2007. This particular aircraft was ordered by Singapore Airlines and delivered in April 2003. It was never operated by the airline, and was instead sold to Boeing in the following month.

US concerned with direct detonation of laptops: United CEO US officials' push for a wider electronics ban follows concerns over the possible direct detonation of a large device in an aircraft passenger cabin, says United Airlines chief executive Oscar Munoz. These concerns do not apply to a laptop or large electronic device stored in the cargo hold of an aircraft, he says on a panel at the IATA annual general meeting in Cancun. "Having had a lot of internal briefings with the Department of Homeland Security about this particular threat and its viability with regards to an explosive device that has been tested in a cabin to catastrophic results, is something we have to believe the government has seen," says Munoz. The US implemented a ban on large electronics in the passenger cabin of flights from 10 cities in Africa and the Middle East in March, a move that was matched by the UK from a fewer number of cities days later. EU and US officials continue to discuss the possibility of expanding the ban to include flights across the North Atlantic. Such a move would impact one of the largest international markets in the world and create new challenges around how to safely transport a large number of electronics in aircraft cargo holds. Other airline executives raised concerns about the safety of a large number of electronics, each with its own lithium ion batteries and their known fire risks, in an aircraft cargo hold. "Safety always has to come first," says Rickard Gustafson, president and chief executive of SAS Group, at IATA. However, he also acknowledges that the security threat is "probably correct", adding that safety and security must be balanced. "We're going to comply," says Munoz if a large electronics ban between the EU and USA is enacted. The airline is working on a plan to "service our customers" in such an event, he adds. Executives at American Airlines and Delta Air Lines have plans in place if a ban is implemented. Ed Bastian, chief executive of Delta, said on 31 May that the carrier has a "game plan" that would allow passengers to remain "productive" in-flight with a ban. Bastian did not elaborate on their plan. Neither American nor Delta expect a significant impact on transatlantic demand in the event of an electronics ban. "Companies still have to [take the trip] over time," said Derek Kerr, president of American, in May. "People will adjust as you move forward. We, as a company, need to figure out how to handle it."

Philippine Airlines continues flights to Qatar Philippines' flagship carrier still assessing situation but continues to operate flights to Doha Dubai: The Philippines‘ flag carrier said it continues to operate its flights to and from Qatar .despite the ongoing diplomatic rift in the Gulf A PAL spokesperson said the Philippines‘ bilateral ties with Qatar has so far not been affected, so their operations will not be suspended. The airline, which has a huge market in the Middle East, operates flights to and from Doha, Qatar every week. The airline, however, is awaiting any advisory from the office of Department of Foreign Affairs. ‖The Philippines is not party to the dispute and our ties with Qatar will remain unaffected,‖ PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna has been quoted by the local media as saying. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen and Maldives severed ties with Qatar on Monday, leading a number of airlines to suspend their flights to and from the Gulf state . The move prompted the Philippine government to stop the deployment of overseas workers to Qatar.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain revoke Qatar Airways licences RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and Bahrain on Tuesday revoked the licences of Qatar Airways and ordered its offices to close within .hours, state media reported, as a diplomatic crisis deepened48 ‖The General Authority of Civil Aviation has decided to cancel all licences granted to Qatar Airways and to close all of its offices in the kingdom within 48 hours,‖ a statement carried by the official SPA news agency said. Bahrain‘s BNA news agency carried a similar statement, suggesting ―all passengers who purchased tickets to or from Qatar make arrangements with the airline‘s offices for a refund within the next 48 hours or via the website‖ after that. Qatari share prices closed down 7.58 per cent on Monday after five Arab countries — Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen — announced they were cutting diplomatic ties with the gas-rich emirate over its alleged support for extremism. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt announced the suspension of all flights to and from Qatar as of Tuesday morning Hours later, Qatar Airways, which flies to nine cities in Saudi Arabia alone, announced it had suspended all flights to Saudi, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt. The Gulf states have also ordered Qataris to leave within 14 days and banned their own citizens from travelling to the emirate. Saudi Arabia has closed its border with Qatar, the emirate‘s only land frontier, effectively blocking food imports and a segment of the country‘s exports. .

Alitalia, which was declared insolvent May 11 after losing €205 million in the first two months of the year, has started an administration process aimed at finding investors willing to invest in the carrier. About 30 airlines and private equity firms submitted non-binding expressions of interest in the Alitalia sale process, according to financial daily Il Sole 24 Ore. The carriers may include Delta Air Lines Inc, Air France-KLM Group and Etihad, while TPG and Cerberus are among the private equity firms, the newspaper said. The Italian airline has about €3 billion in debt and assets worth €921 million. Investors can submit bids for the entire company, assets or propose a restructuring plan, according to the Alitalia tender document. Etihad, which cut off funds to the carrier after workers rejected a restructuring plan, failed to turn around Alitalia after buying a 49 per cent stake in .2014 Delta said it ―continues to monitor Alitalia‘s progress since it entered into the administration process,‖ without commenting on details. The US carrier is a long-standing partner of Alitalia as part of its transatlantic joint venture with Air France-KLM. Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Ryanair Holdings PLC and British Airways owner International Consolidated Airlines Group SA have said they have no interest in participating in Alitalia‘s rescue. ―We are not buying Alitalia,‖ Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr said in Cancun. ―But Italy is a very important market for us. It‘s an important market for long-range services especially inbound. We will be watching very carefully if opportunities do arise.‖ The administration process of Italy‘s flag carrier may provide an ―opportunity‖ for Lufthansa to expands its low-cost arm Eurowings in the country, Spohr said, adding that the German airline ―will look at‖ picking up Alitalia assets such as aircraft and slots if they come up for sale. Alitalia commissioners are preparing an 18-month business plan that will be submitted by the end of July. Alitalia had no comment on the matter.

Goh Choon Phong New IATA Chairman Goh Choon Phong, nuevo presidente de la IATA (pdf) Cancun - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, has assumed his duties as Chairman of the IATA Board of Governors (BoG) for a one-year term, effective from the conclusion of the 73rd IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Cancun, Mexico. Goh is the 76th Chair of the IATA BoG, and the third CEO of Singapore Airlines to hold this position. Goh succeeds Willie Walsh, CEO of International Airlines Group. Walsh will continue to serve on the BoG and the Chair Committee. ―It is an honor to serve as IATA‘s Chairman for the coming year. While the industry‘s global profitability may be strengthening, there is more work to be done as it is not evenly spread. Security is at the top of the agenda. We must improve our partnership with governments to meet the many emerging threats. Additionally, I will be paying special attention to progressing preparations for the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), driving the modernization of cargo processes, and increasing transaction volumes with the New Distribution Capability. Kenya Airways debt swap may give state a controlling stake NAIROBI: Kenya‘s government agreed to swap loans it provided to Kenya Airways Ltd. for equity, a conversion that may give the state a controlling stake in the national carrier, .Treasury Secretary Henry Rotich said The government will also guarantee 77 billion shillings (Dh2.74 billion; $745 million( of the airline‘s debt to lessors and domestic banks, enabling Kenya Airways to extend its loan repayments to 10 years, Rotich told reporters Tuesday in the capital, Nairobi. The government has yet to decide what amount of loans it will swap, he said. ‖We will be deciding whether we want to increase our debt to equity, that means the government may own more‖ of the airline, Rotich said. ―If we convert the loans that we have, probably it may be over 50 per cent or so, but that decision is yet to happen. If everything turns around we will just retain our shareholding as it is―. Sub-Saharan Africa‘s third-biggest airline announced a $690million reorganisation last year aimed at returning the company to profit, after recording the biggest loss in Kenyan corporate history. It appointed PJT Partners Inc. to advise on how to restructure its balance sheet and raise long-term financing. Since the plan was announced, the airline has reduced its fleet, cut jobs and cancelled unprofitable routes. Kenya Airways had total debt of $1.9 billion at the end of its financial year in March and has been seeking to renegotiate loan terms to free up cash. The government owns 29.8 per cent of the airline, while Air France-KLM holds 26.7 per cent, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
