almasalla.travel طوابير طويلة بمطارات أمريكية بسبب خلل إلكتروني أعلنت إدارة الجمارك وحماية الحدود بالواليات المتحدة أمس ،أنها واجهت مشكلة في أجهزة الكومبيوتر دامت نحو أربع ساعات وأثرت في العمل في مطارات وتسببت في طوابير طويلة وتأخر في مراجعة أوراق الهجرة مع عودة المسافرين بعد عطلة رأس السنة. وقالت الناطقة باسم اإلدارة فً بٌان جنٌفر إٌفانٌتسكاي« :حالٌا ً لٌس هناك أي مؤشرات على أن العطل جنائً» .وتابعت أن العطل استمر من الساعة الخامسة مساء أمس االثنٌن حتى التاسعة مساء بتوقٌت شرق الوالٌات المتحدة (من 22:00إلى 02:00بتوقٌت غرٌنتش أمس). وذكر مسؤولون فً مطار محلً أن المطارات فً أماكن مثل نٌوٌورك ولوس انجلوس ومٌامً وبوسطن وأتالنتا لم تتأثر بحسب روٌترز. وقالت إٌفانٌتسكاي« :خالل العطل الفنً كان فً إمكان إدارة الجمارك وحماٌة الحدود فً الوالٌات المتحدة الوصول إلى قاعدة البٌانات المتعلقة باألمن القومً وجرى فحص جمٌع المسافرٌن وفق المعاٌٌر األمنٌة». وبٌنت صور نشرت على وسائل التواصل االجتماعً طوابٌر طوٌلة فً مختلف المطارات حٌث كان الناس ٌحاولون إنهاء اإلجراءات فً إدارة الهجرة والجمارك.

almasalla.travel طيران اإلمارات تستأنف تشغيل االيرباص 380بين دبى و مطار ناريتا أعلنت طيران اإلمارات أنها سوف تستأنف تشغيل رحالتها اليومية بين دبي ومطار ناريتا في العاصمة اليابانية بطائرات االيرباص من طراز ،380وذلك اعتباراً من 26مارس .2016ويأتي هذا اإلعالن بعد تشغيل الطائرة لخدمة رحالت موسكو ،وقرب تشغيلها إلى جوهانسبرغ في جنوب أفريقيا .كما يتزامن مع بدء استخدام الطائرة ذات الطابقين بين دبي والدار البيضاء. وتوفر طائرة اإلمارات االٌرباص من طراز ،380التً ستخدم خط نارٌتا489 ، مقعداً بتوزٌع الدرجات الثالث 14 :جناحا ً خاصا ً فً األولى ،و 76مقعداً فً درجة رجال األعمال ،و 399مقعداً فً الدرجة السٌاحٌة .وبذلك ستزداد الطاقة االستٌعابٌة لكل رحلة بمقدار 135مقعداً مقارنة مع طائرة البوٌنغ من طراز 777-300ذات المدى الممتد المستخدمة حالٌا ً على الخط.

almasalla.travel طيران اإلمارات و االتحاد ضمن قائمة أكثر 8ناقالت أمانا ً حول العالم تصدرت الناقلتان الوطنيتان «اإلمارات» و«االتحاد» ،قائمة شركات الطيران العالمية األكثر أمانا ً في .2016 وحلت طيران اإلمارات في المركز السابع ،فيما حلت االتحاد للطيران في المركز الثامن في القائمة ،التي أعدها «مركز تقييم بيانات حوادث الطائرات» لصالح مجلة «إيرو إنترناشيونال» األلمانية المتخصصة في موضوعات الطيران ،فيما حلت «كاثي باسيفيك» ،ومقرها هونػ كونػ ،بالمركز األول ،كأفضل شركة طيران في العالم من حيث سجل األمان. وبحسب معدي الدراسة ،المقرر نشرها كاملة فً المجلة ٌوم ٌ 18ناٌر الحالً، فإن «االتجاه اإلٌجابً بالنسبة ألمن وسالمة الطٌران استمر خالل العام الماضً» ،مشٌرٌن إلى االنخفاض النسبً لحوادث الطٌران خالل ،2016كما أشارت الدراسة إلى أنه رغم تعرض أكبر 60شركة طٌران فً العالم لبعض الحوادث التً أدت إلى تحطم الطائرات ،فإن أٌا ً من هذه الحوادث لم ٌسفر عن سقوط قتلى بحسب البٌان.

Emirates A380 returns to Narita, Japan Emirates will resume its daily A380 service between Dubai and Narita from 26 March 2017. This follows the airline’s recent A380 deployment to Moscow, and will take place after the upcoming launch of A380 services to Johannesburg. It will also coincide with the launch of A380 services between Dubai and Casablanca. Emirates will deploy its three-class A380 on the Narita route, offering a total of 489 seats, with 14 private suites in First Class, 76 seats in Business Class and 399 seats in Economy Class, increasing capacity per flight by more than 135 passengers compared to the current Boeing 777-300ER. AACO Executive Committee elects H.E. Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser AlJasser as its Chairman H.E. Eng. Saleh Bin Nasser AlJasser - Director General of Saudia – has been elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) for a term of three years, replacing H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker – Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways. During AACO Annual General Meeting (AGM) that was held in Casablanca on 29 November 2016, elections took place to vote for the Chairman and members of the Executive Committee that includes nine members from AACO member airlines’ Chairmen of Board of Directors, Directors General, or CEOs. The Executive Committee is considered as the highest authority in AACO amongst AGM meetings, which are the supreme authority. The Executive Committee supervises AACO’s work strategy in general, and the scope of joint projects between the member airlines in particular. It is worth noting that AACO has 31 Arab airlines which account for more than 99% of the total air transport capacity in the Arab world, and has more than 1,300 aircraft with an average age of 7 years equivalent to half the average age of the fleet on the global level. AACO works on several areas including: forming and running joint projects among its members, representing Arab airlines at the regional and international levels and advocating their interests,.

GECAS orders 75 additional 737 MAX 8s GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) announced Jan. 4 that it booked an order in December 2016 for 75 Boeing 737 MAX 8s. The order is valued at $8.25 billion at list prices. The new order increases GECAS’s order book for 737 MAX 8 aircraft to 170, the largest number of bookings for the model by any leasing company. GECAS president and CEO Alec Burger said the CFM International LEAP-1B engines on these aircraft ―deliver outstanding productivity and reliability in the single-aisle market.‖ The LEAP-1B is the sole-source engine for the MAX, which is scheduled to enter service in mid-2017 with launch customer Southwest Airlines. The GECAS deal brings Boeing’s order total for 737 MAX aircraft to 3,419. As of November, the rival Airbus A320neo—another re-engined narrowbody—had received about 4,800 orders from 88 customers.

Boeing, Travel Service Finalize Order for Five Additional 737 MAXs Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Travel Service, the Czech airline company that operates scheduled flights under the SmartWings brand, has finalized an order for five 737 8 MAX airplanes, valued at $550 million at current list prices. Travel Service previously placed an order for three 737 MAXs at the Paris Air Show in 2013 and currently operates a mixed fleet that includes 32 737s "We are pleased to add more 737 MAXs to our original order and we look forward to receiving the first one to become the first airline to operate the 737 MAX in this region," said Roman Vik, Chief Executive Officer, Travel Service. The 737 MAX incorporates the latest technology CFM International LEAP-1B engines, Advanced Technology winglets and other improvements to deliver the highest efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort in the singleaisle market. The 737 MAX will be 14 percent more fuel-efficient than today's most efficient Next-Generation 737s – and 20 percent better than the original Next-Generation 737s when they first entered service.
