‫مصر للطٌران‪ :‬زٌادة الرحالت إلى عدد من النقاط الدولٌة خالل موسم صٌف ‪2020‬‬ ‫كتب ‪ -‬طه عبٌد‪:‬‬ ‫قررت شركة مصر للطٌران للخطوط الجوٌة زٌادة رحالت العدٌد من النقاط بقارة أوروبا وأسٌا‬ ‫وأفرٌقٌا وأمرٌكا الشمالٌة والشرق األوسط خالل موسم صٌف ‪ ،2020‬وذلك فً إطار جهود‬ ‫الشركة فً تقدٌم خدمة أفضل لعمالئها‪.‬‬ ‫وقال الطٌار أشرف الخولً رئٌس الشركة ‪ -‬فً تصرٌح الٌوم االثنٌن ‪ -‬إنه من المقرر زٌادة‬ ‫رحالت الشركة إلى واشنطن من ‪ 3‬إلى ‪ 4‬رحالت أسبوعٌا وتورونتو من ‪ 6‬إلى ‪ 7‬رحالت‬ ‫أسبوعٌا‪ ،‬أما قارة أوروبا تقرر زٌادة الرحالت إلى إسطنبول من ‪ 14‬رحلة أسبوعٌا إلى ‪21‬‬ ‫رحلة‪ ،‬وفٌ​ٌنا من ‪ 6‬إلى ‪ 7‬رحالت أسبوعٌا وبرلٌن من ‪ 5‬إلى ‪ 6‬رحالت‪ ،‬وموسكو من ‪ 3‬إلى ‪4‬‬ ‫رحالت أسبوعٌا‪.‬‬ ‫وفً قارة أفرٌقٌا‪ ..‬تقرر زٌادة الرحالت إلى الخرطوم من ‪ 17‬إلى ‪ 20‬رحلة أسبوعٌا وإلى جوبا‬ ‫من رحلتٌن إلى ‪ 3‬رحالت والجوس من ‪ 5‬رحالت إلى ‪ 11‬رحلة أسبوعٌا‪.‬‬ ‫وفً الشرق األوسط تقرر زٌادة رحالت الكوٌت من ‪ 28‬إلى ‪ 42‬رحلة أسبوعٌا ودبً من ‪ 25‬إلى‬ ‫‪ 28‬رحلة‪.‬‬ ‫وفً قارة آسٌا من المقرر أن تزٌد رحالت مومباي من ‪ 4‬إلى ‪ 5‬رحالت أسبوعٌا وطوكٌو من‬ ‫رحلتٌن إلى ‪ 3‬رحالت أسبوعٌا‪.‬‬

‫دراسة‪ :‬النقل الجوي سٌستمر فً التزاٌد بقوة مستقبال‬ ‫أظهرت دراسة ألمانٌة أن النقل الجوي سٌستمر فً التزاٌد بقوة خالل العقود المقبلة‪.‬‬ ‫وتوقع معدو الدراسة التً أجراها المركز األلمانً للطٌران وأبحاث الفضاء ونشر نتٌجتها الٌوم‬ ‫االثنٌن‪ ،‬أن ٌرتفع عدد المسافرٌن جوا من نحو أربعة ملٌارات مسافر عام ‪ 2016‬إلى أكثر من‬ ‫‪ 9.4‬ملٌار راكب عام ‪ ،2040‬مما ٌعنً أن هذه األعداد ستزداد أكثر من الضعف‪.‬‬ ‫وحسب الدراسة فإن أعداد الرحالت الجوٌة سترتفع فً نفس الفترة من ‪ 35.5‬ملٌون رحلة إلى‬ ‫نحو ‪ 53‬ملٌون رحلة‪ ،‬أي بزٌادة نحو ‪.%50‬‬ ‫وف ًقا لتقدٌرات الباحثٌن فإن شركات الطٌران ستلجأ وبشكل متزاٌد مستقبال الستخدام طائرات أكبر‬ ‫حجما وذلك الستٌعاب األعداد المتزاٌدة للمسافرٌن جوا‪ .‬كما ستضطر المطارات لزٌادة طاقاتها‬ ‫وقدرات استٌعابها‪.‬‬ ‫ورغم ذلك فإن معدي الدراسة حذروا من أن مطارات العالم لن تستوعب أعداد الراغبٌن فً السفر‬ ‫جوا مما سٌؤدي حسب الدراسة إلى اختناقات فٌما ٌتعلق بتوفٌر الخدمة الالزمة للمسافرٌن الذٌن‬ ‫سٌبلغ عددهم‪ ،‬وف ًقا ألصحاب الدراسة‪ ،‬نحو ‪ 255‬ملٌون راكب‪ ،‬عام ‪ ،2040‬وهو ما ٌعنً أكثر‬ ‫من جمٌع أعداد الركاب الجوٌ​ٌن فً ألمانٌا على مدى عام ‪ 2018‬بأكمله‪ ،‬حسبما أوضح مارك‬ ‫جٌلهاوزن‪ ،‬من المركز األلمانً ألبحاث المطارات والنقل الجوي‪.‬‬

‫الخطوط التونسٌة توضح حقٌقة تصنٌفها ضمن أسوأ شركات النقل الجوي‬ ‫مباشر‪ :‬نفت شركة الخطوط التونسٌة ()‪ ،TAIR‬المدرجة ببورصة تونس‪ ،‬ما تم تداوله ببعض‬ ‫المواقع اإللكترونٌة ووسائل اإلعالم خالل األسبوع الماضً‪ ،‬حول تصنٌفها ضمن أسوأ شركات‬ ‫النقل الجوي‪.‬‬ ‫وأوضحت الشركة فً بٌان عبر حسابها الرسمً على توٌتر‪ ،‬أن مصدر الخبر غٌر معروف وفاقد‬ ‫للمصداقٌة‪ ،‬ولم ٌتضمن مؤٌدات ومعطٌات علمٌة ومهنٌة للتصنٌف‪.‬‬ ‫وأبدت الشركة استهجانا ً لنشر ذلك الخبر خاصة وأنه جاء بالتزامن مع نشر نتائج إٌجابٌة لها عن‬ ‫األشهر األخٌرة‪.‬‬ ‫ولفتت الشركة إلى أنها تمكنت من تحقٌق أرباح على الرغم من الظروف االقتصادٌة الصعبة‬ ‫بمجال الطٌران وتواضع اإلمكانٌات‪.‬‬ ‫ودعت الشركة وسائل االعالم للتدقٌق من مثل تلك األخبار‪ ،‬خاصة وأنها تمس سمعة الشركة‬ ‫وتهدد االقتصاد الوطنً والنشاط السٌاحً‪.‬‬ ‫وكانت الشركة شهدت تراجعا ً فً إٌراداتها من النشاط خالل ‪ 9‬أشهر من العام المالً الجاري‬ ‫بنسبة ‪ 0.54‬بالمائة‪ ،‬لتصل إلى ‪ 1.2‬ملٌار دٌنار‪ ،‬مقارنة بنحو ‪ 1.21‬ملٌار دٌنار فً ‪ 9‬أشهر من‬ ‫العام الماضً‪.‬‬

‫هبوط اضطراري لطائرة فرنسٌة فً مطار القاهرة‬ ‫هبطت طائرة فرنسٌة بمطار القاهرة الدولً‪ٌ ،‬وم االثنٌن‪ ،‬اضطرارٌا أثناء رحلتها من جزٌرة‬ ‫ساندونً إلى فرنسا‪ ،‬بسبب إصابة راكب فرنسً بوعكة صحٌة شدٌدة‪ ،‬نقل على إثرها‬ ‫للمستشفى إلنقاذ حٌاته‪.‬‬ ‫وقالت مصادر مالحٌة بالمطار إن "برج المراقبة تلقى إشارة من قائد الرحلة رقم ( )‪Bf 701‬‬ ‫المتوجهة إلى فرنسا من جزٌرة ساندونً‪ٌ ،‬طلب السماح له بالهبوط االضطراري بمطار القاهرة‪،‬‬ ‫واستدعاء سٌارة إسعاف وطاقم طبً بسبب إصابة راكب فرنسً ‪ 75‬عاما بوعكة صحٌة"‪.‬‬ ‫وأضافت المصادر أنه تم السماح للطائرة بالهبوط فً موقع ‪ 42‬بمدرج المطار‪ ،‬وقام فرٌق طبً‬ ‫بالكشف على المسافر المرٌض‪ ،‬وتبٌن أنه ٌعانً من جلطة‪ ،‬ونقل إلى أحد المستشفٌات القرٌبة من‬ ‫المطار‪.‬‬

EgyptAir to increase number of flights during summer 2020 EgyptAir airlines announced on Monday it will increase the number of flights to several destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Middle East during the summer of 2020.

The move falls within the framework of the company's efforts to enhance services offered to clients, said Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines Ashraf El-Kholy in statements.

The flights of the flagship carrier to Washington are scheduled to increase from three to four flights per week, while the number of flights to Toronto will be seven instead of six.

In Europe, flights will go up from 14 to 21 weekly as for Istanbul, from six to seven flights heading to Vienna and from five to six flights to Berlin.

The number of flights operated by EgyptAir to Moscow will rise from three to four flights per week.

As for flights within Africa, the number will be taken up from 17 to 20 as for Khartoum flights on weekly basis, from two to three flights heading to Juba and from five to 11 flights for Lagos.

The number of flights to Kuwait will increase to 42 instead of 28 weekly, while Dubai flights will increase to 28 flights.

Flights heading to Asia will observe an increase in Mumbai and Tokyo, as flights operated by EgyptAir will be five and three per week.

Corruption is a pity for African aviation GENEVA - Besides issues such as lack of connectivity between countries, astronomical taxes, airport fees and lack of infrastructure, a factor that continues to hamper aviation development in Sub-Saharan Africa is operational cost. One of the aspects that continuously increases the cost of operating an African airline is systemic corruption, particularly at government level.

However, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) says its hands are tied when it comes to dealing with corrupt African states. “Corruption is a pity for Africa, but IATA cannot do everything. The best we can do is to continue to educate the industry on the benefits of eliminating corruption,” said IATA’s director general and CEO Alexandre de Juniac.

During a special round table discussion on African and Middle Eastern airlines yesterday morning at the IATA head office in Geneva, Switzerland, De Juniac admitted there is no “magic solution” for African airlines but continuously emphasised connectivity and operational cost as the major factors hampering the profitability of airlines on the continent.

However, De Juniac hinted at some light at the end of the tunnel for Africa, as he revealed that many of the big issues regarding blocked funds have been resolved on the continent. Airlines operating in some African countries have for years struggled to repatriate funds generated in African markets.

Some of the countries where these issues have been resolved include Egypt, Nigeria and Angola. Meanwhile, De Juniac stated that IATA continues to invest heavily in training African aviation officials and during 2019 had trained about 3000 people on the continent. “But we cannot do all the training by ourselves. For this reason, we are looking at teaming up with local partners to provide training to the industry like we have done in India and China,” said De Juniac.

IATA has repeatedly called on African governments to abide by international agreements and treaty obligations to enable airlines to repatriate revenues from ticket sales and other activities. According to IATA, the amount of airline funds blocked from repatriation totalled US$4.9 billion at the end of 2017, which was down seven percent compared to year-end 2016.

“The connectivity provided by aviation is vital to economic growth and development. Aviation supports jobs and trade, and helps people to lead better lives. But airlines need to have confidence that they will be able to repatriate their revenues in order to bring these benefits to markets,” De Juniac added.

Recent success in unblocking aviation revenue include US$600 million cleared backlog in Nigeria and over US$500 million in Angola.

Regarding African aviation’s cost competitiveness, airlines continue to be hampered by high costs such as jet fuel, which remains staggeringly high at 35 percent above the global average. In addition, airline user charges make up 11.4 percent of the operating costs of African airlines, which is 100 percent higher than the average for the global industry. This, combined with the “plethora” of taxes and charges of African aviation operators, including some that are found nowhere else, astronomically pushes up the cost of aviation operations on the African continent to the extent that African airlines lose US$1.54 (N$23.10) for every passenger they carry.

South Africa’s Comair Cleared To Merge With Star Air South Africa’s Competition Commission has confirmed that it has approved Comair’s acquisition of Star Air. The move was first announced back in June, after Comair reportedly paid $5.14 million to acquire Star Air and its repair division, Star Air Maintenance.

Comair operates under the British Airways brand. Comair’s acquisition of Star Air was confirmed by the South African Competition Commission last week. the Competition Commission recommended that the merger be approved without any restrictions.

Advertisement The merger will come as bad news for South African Airways, which recently filed for bankruptcy protection, partly as a result of a $69 million anti-competition settlement it was ordered to pay Comair earlier in the year.

Advertisement Comair’s latest acquisition Star Air of South Africa, not to be confused with Star Air of India or Star Air of Indonesia, is a small aircraft leasing company. According to CH-Aviation, it currently operates a fleet of just 10 aircraft – five Boeing 737-300s and five Boeing 737-300(F)s.

Airlines currently leasing aircraft from Star Air include Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique and BidAir Cargo. Funnily enough, Comair is also a current customer of Star Air, leasing two Boeing 737s.
