COLOR CONSIDERATION

High quality printed shirts begin with the right colors. Fabric needs to be designed using process color (CMYK). Any spot colors or Pantone colors will be converted and matched as closely as possible. It is important to remember that we are working with a physical woven fabric, and although we do everything in our power to ensure color accuracy, colors may vary slightly.

FILE PREPARATION

In order to deliver a final product with a maximum level of detail and color accuracy, we need high quality CMYK vector files (.ai, .pdf, .eps) or 300dpi full-scale raster images (.jpeg, .png, .tiff).

PRINTING

Digital printing uses inkjet technology and ink cartridges with dyes similar to a standard paper printer but on a much larger scale. We start with a pure white. Tiny dots of ink are printed onto the fabric as the ink cartridges move back and forth across the material.

FINISHING

Once printing is complete, the fabric is steamed to set the ink and washed to remove excess dyes. This process locks in the color and gives the garment a nice soft hand feel. The finishing process may slightly alter the color saturation.

Go subtle and sophisticated, or bright and bold. Each one of your shirts will be cut and sewn using the custom fabric that you design.

SIDE-BY-SIDE COMPARISON Colors look different on computers (lights on a screen) than they do printed (inks on fabric, in this case).

Because of these differences, it is very difficult to match a PMS color 100%. Printed fabric will vary slightly from digital artwork. Customers must expect an up to 10% color difference.
