Zamora Acupuncture in North Scottsdale brings hope to those that are experiencing back pain or nerve pain. “ I felt like I needed to try an alternative prior to surgery. I had several spinal injections with NO relief. Since going to Kourtney over the last 3 months my pain and numbness in my right leg has subsided, and I feel like a new person!”

There is hope for back pain and it’s right here in North Scottsdale. Dr. Kourtney Zamora, Doctor of acupuncture, has provided pain relieving acupuncture for over nine years. She has expertise in providing treatments for nerve pain relief and chronic back pain. She takes on cases that are complex and even severe cases of pain with disruptions in sleep.

Many of Dr. Zamora’s patients express how they are now able to carry out their daily activities because of her treatments. One patient says “..my pain and neuropathy became unbearable. I’m now able to sleep all night now without any help from pills. Thank you So much for your help and caring.”

As early as 16 years old, she describes working in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. She describes herself as a natural caregiver. She’s grateful for finding her calling for healthcare early on in life. She is board certified in acupuncture through the NCCAOM and practices the style of traditional Chinese acupuncture.

Q&A with Dr. Kourtney Zamora, D.Ac.

Question: What services do you offer that are unique?

Answer: I provide services for people that have been in pain for a long time. People come in with back pain, peripheral neuropathy, sciatic pain and more. I provide evidencebased traditional Chinese acupuncture with modern technology that has been FDA approved to decrease pain. I use my experience in healthcare to provide exceptional care. Oftentimes, the patients that I see have already tried everything else. They have done surgery, tried various medications, physical therapy, injections and more. Many people think they are too far gone in terms of their pain. In many cases, this can\ lead to depression because they are unable to get out and enjoy life. I am here to tell you that there is hope for a more pain-free life

Question: What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Answer: The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how patients progress through their treatments and get better. The first phase of treatment can be slow moving. At this phase patients are often impatient for results because they have been in pain for so long. During the second phase of treatment, patients begin to feel the benefits of acupuncture. They become hopeful, I see an improvement in their mood, and they tell me things like, “I was able to take my dog for a walk without my sciatic pain acting up the rest of the day. I slept all night without waking up with nerve pain in my feet.” And, “I was able to complete 18 holes of golf, which I haven’t been able to do in years!”

It’s time you start feeling your best, especially during this holiday season!!

If you are suffering in pain, schedule a complimentary consultation at Zamora Acupuncture to discuss your condition. It’s never too late to start your journey to better health.
