This is the first time it has been done in Scottsdale.Because of the concrete and foam construction, ICF structures reduce up to 70% air pollution from the outside, and are resistant to hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires, and termites. These homes are not only beneficial to the environment and communities, but they allow for a unique opportunity to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Arizona necessities.

“We are expecting historic voter turnout in 2020, so it’s important that we do everything we can to make sure voters are informed about upcoming elections,” said Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Clint Hickman, District 3. “Be Ballot Ready is an easy way for residents to find everything they need from looking up whether they are registered to vote, to when’s their next election, and what’s on their ballot.”
The campaign will also introduce a new mascot “Phil the Ballot.” Modeled after the county’s new oval ballot style, “Phil the Ballot” will encourage voters to Be Ballot Ready for elections in 2020. “I am excited to introduce voters to ‘Phil the Ballot.’ We hope this character will get voters excited and engaged with the election,” said Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes. “There is a lot of important information that voters need to know about the elections, and Phil can help voters Be Ballot Ready.”
Kicking off the 2020 election season, Tempe and Chandler are holding citywide elections on March 10. The following week, registered Democrats throughout Maricopa County have the opportunity to vote in the Democratic

Presidential Preference Election on March 17. Because the Presidential Preference Election is not a primary, registered independents are not eligible to vote. The Republican and Libertarian parties have opted out of holding a preference election. POMO RESTAURANT GROUP, THE GROUP BEHIND POPULAR RESTAURANTS INCLUDING POMO PIZZERIA, MORA ITALIAN AND MEAT THE BALL, IS BRINGING THE AMERICANO, AN ITALIAN STEAKHOUSE TO SCOTTSDALE. The restaurant’s website defines it as “a European style of personalized service, merging both Italian and American influences. With true flavors, carefully selected local products and creativity, The Americano is new and comforting at the same time.”
"The Americano will bring the best of both worlds from Italy and America to provide some of the finest steaks, seafood and pasta that Arizona has to offer," Executive Chef Matthew Taylor said in a statement.
The restaurant's menu is set to feature high-end steaks, certified Italian Piedmontese cattle, domestic Wagyu beef, house-made pasta, salads, antipasti, a raw bar, and caviar. The Americano’s 7,000-square feet of dining space will feature a woodfired grill and steaks will be made to complement classic Italian dishes such as pasta and antipasti and Mediterranean seafood.

“The Americano will bring the best of Italian firepower cuisine with the finest American steaks,” general work at The Americano and offer first-
manager Paride Guerra said in the release.

Sneak peeks on The Americano’s website showcase large scale modern art adorning the walls, a Pete Diese sculpture, modern seating and lighting with pops of bright lime green. According to their Facebook page, The Americano will also feature two private dining rooms and a private terrace in which to host cocktail meetings or other celebrations with sharing menus and beverage packages available. The restaurant group will hire approximately 60 to 80 people to
