N. 32ND ST., IN PHOENIX. The store is targeting a soft open date of September 1.

Like its Scottsdale counterpart, the new store will offer a diverse range of hiking gear. However, this location will particularly spotlight day hiking equipment, with an assortment of other engaging merchandise.

The journey of Just Roughin’ It began in 2006, spearheaded by Arizona native Ray and his partner Debbie Hendricks, originally from upstate New York. The duo’s initial venture, a guiding service, proved to be a hit, leading them on adventures across various renowned locations, from the Grand Canyon to Yosemite National Park. Transitioning from guiding to a ‘brick and click’ business model, the store now offers both online and in-store shopping experiences, leveraging their extensive outdoor knowledge to aid customers.

Just Roughin’ It’s ethos is rooted in inclusivity. From novices to seasoned hikers, the store caters to all, ensuring everyone has access to top-tier gear tailored to their needs.

As the team behind the brand notes, they’re eager not only to sell quality products but also to share their vast knowledge of the great outdoors.

As the Just Roughin’ It team enthusiastically advocates, it’s all about embracing the “dirty fun” the outdoors offers. Customers agree, Just Roughin’ It has earned the accolade Best Outdoor Outfitter of the Valley for four years running: ‘19, ‘20, ‘21, and ‘22.
