Bikers for Boobies AZ's commendable legacy since its inception in 2009 includes providing over 1,000 women with free mammograms. Through its grants program, the charity has also distributed more than $200,000 for survival and medical grants. Furthermore, the charity has generously donated between $1,000 to $10,000 to various organizations aiding families and individuals grappling with cancer. “We are so grateful,” says Treasurer Laura Rasmussen.

In the past, Bikers for Boobies has contributed over $250,000 to charities such as The Singletons, Casting for Recovery, Don’t be a Chump–Check for a Lump, Forth & Bubble, The Joy Bus, and many others. This year, with renewed vigor and a broader partnership with local resources, the charity is poised to make an even bigger impact.

AMSAF secures $100,000 for rider training scholarships.

THE SAFETY AND TRAINING OF ARIZONA’S MOTORCYCLISTS JUST GOT A SIGNIFICANT LIFT. The Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF) recently celebrated the acquisition of a $100,000 grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (AZGOHS). This grant accentuates AZGOHS’s commitment to AMSAF’s objective: to elevate motorcycle awareness and consequently reduce rider fatalities and injuries.

According to Mick Degn, AMSAF’s executive director, the emphasis is on continuity. “Our enthusiasm about awarding scholarships for educating both new and ongoing riders remains steadfast,” he notes. But with the AMSAF scholarship, only a modest $100 non-refundable co-pay is required.
