THIS FALL, A WHIMSICAL-YETSOPHISTICATED NEW MINI DOUGHNUT SHOP IS COMING TO DESERT RIDGE MARKETPLACE – THEIR FIRST LOCATION IN ARIZONA. Before we get you drooling over their tasty franchise come to be. As a teenager, franchise and food and beverage veteran Jeff Pappas grew up going to Schultz’s farm in Armonk, NY to grab a hot fresh doughnut every weekend. The line would always be around the building no matter what time of day. He’d buy a dozen doughnuts and before he got back home they’d be gone. Schultz’s farm is no longer around but the memories of those incredible fresh doughnuts remained.
Fast forward to 2015 when Jeff decided to franchise such a business by seeking a successful (freshly made) doughnut company. He came across Jimmy Nuccio and Gabriel Wiesen of Chicago’s award-winning Beavers Coffee & Donuts. Jeff learned about the new niche in the doughnut industry of mini doughnuts. Beavers had been operating successfully for four years and had received a bunch of awards and had great accolades on Yelp. They got together and all shared this incredible passion for fresh doughnuts made to order. Jeff, Jimmy and Gabriel soon decided to join forces and established

The project is scheduled to break ground next month and the first residents can expect to move in mid-next year.
