HI, MY NAME IS… Howard Barish.

I’VE LIVED IN THE AREA FOR ONE AND A HALF YEARS AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE… I’ve returned to where I first ventured west at 17 years old.

A TYPICAL DAY IN MY LIFE INCLUDES… coffee, a 3-mile walk, more coffee, then work.

MY FAMILY IS… everything to me.

ONE THING I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IS… the camaraderie of my childhood friends.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING AND WHY IS… “Shawshank Redemption” because it manifests the arc of life’s experiences.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE… nothing specific, just successful.

THE SONG I WOULD SING AT KARAOKE NIGHT IS… “Tryin’ to Get That Feeling Again” by Barry Manilow.

THE ONE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME IS… my wife.

THE LAST THING THAT MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD WAS… the latest Scott Van Pelt podcast.

THE PERFECT DAY IS… not hearing any bad news.

MY FAVORITE LOCAL NONPROFIT IS… Make-A-Wish, by far.

MY LIFE IS… fortunate.

THE BEST GIFT I’VE EVER RECEIVED WAS… two gifts, my kids.

MY DREAM VACATION WOULD BE… a year in Italy.
