41ST ANNUAL CAVE CREEK RODEO MARCH 23-25

Drawing top-ranking Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) contestants, the 41st Annual Cave Creek RODEO Days is one of the Valley’s biggest and most anticipated events. Presented by Sanderson Ford, the family-friendly, multi-day show will take place Friday,

Saturday & Sunday, March 23, 24, and 25 at Cave Creek Memorial Arena.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), headquartered in Colorado, is the largest and oldest rodeo-sanctioning body in the world. The recognized leader in professional rodeo, the PRCA is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the industry.

GREG WESTFALL The Cave Creek Rodeo Days Kickoff Celebration is open to the public and admission free for all ages. Truly a community event it invigorates both locals and visitors, as well as numerous support from Cave Creek businesses.

Early on Saturday morning, bystanders line the Town of Cave Creek main core in order to catch the beginning of the event’s Historic Parade that starts at 9 a.m. Kristen Lewis is parade contact at parade@cavecreekrodeo.com.

After the parade is the Kid’s Mutton Bustin competition will be at Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse in the heart of Cave Creek, where up to 95 Buckaroos from age four to twelve, vie for the annual Mutton Bustin’ Titles, with champions crowned in all age groups. Mutton bustin’ is a junior rodeo activity where kids ride the sheep. During the day, there are also a multitude of other activities geared towards children of all ages that take place throughout the Town of Cave Creek.

The Official Kickoff Dance sponsored by Buffalo Chip Saloon will be Saturday, March 17 beginning at 8 pm.

All PRCA festivities and rodeo performances take place in the Cave Creek Memorial Arena grounds, located at 24th Street and Carefree Highway. The lighted, outdoor arena is a crowdpleasing setting that spotlights the best of the best.

Friday night is the Wrangler® National Patriot™performance. Wrangler is honored to support the Wrangler® National Patriot™ program, created to provide funding and support for America’s wounded and fallen soldiers and their families. The performance starts at 7:30 pm.

Saturday night’s performance starts at 7:30 pm.

On Sunday afternoon, Wrangler presents the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” performance, which is the third and final performance where attendees will be treated to over two hours of professional rodeo. Performance starts at 2 pm.
