Gabriel’s Angels Rolls Out the Red Carpet for “A Night of PAWsibilities” Gala

The celebrated Arizona-based nonprofit, Gabriel’s Angels, muchanticipated annual fundraising gala, A Night of PAWsibilities, is set for Saturday, Oct. 7. Taking place at the Arizona Biltmore from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., this year’s event dons a glamorous “PAWparazzi – A Red Carpet Affair” theme.

The Phoenix Legacy Foundation is gearing up to host its Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 28, at the Papago Golf Club, located at 5595 E. Karsten Way, in Phoenix. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. with a four-person scramble format. Both sports enthusiasts and philanthropists are joining hands to support the event's beneficiaries: Arizona Youth Magic Outreach and Youth for Troops.

Participants can look forward to an exciting array of contests during the tournament, including the Putting Contest, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and Beat the Pro. Additionally, attendees will get an opportunity to indulge in a silent auction, various raffles, and receive prize bags. The foundation is currently seeking sponsors, donations for prize bags, silent auction items, and raffle prizes to make the event a grand success.

THE FOUNDATION HAS LAID OUT MULTIPLE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, CATERING TO DIVERSE BUSINESS INTERESTS:

• Title Sponsor: $15,000 (limited to one)

• Awards Luncheon Sponsor: $10,000 (limited to one)

• Community Outreach Sponsor: $5,000 (limited to four)

• Specialty Sponsors (covering Beverage Cart, Valet, Swag Bag): $3,000 each

• Hole-In-One Sponsor: $2,000 (limited to two)

• Hole Sponsor: $1,000

For the avid golfers looking to participate, the pricing is set at $600 for a foursome or $175 for an individual golfer. This fee encompasses the green fee, cart, range balls, along with lunch and a drink ticket.

Youth for Troops is an esteemed organization that creates community service opportunities to show appreciation and support to veterans and deployed service members. Activities encompass assembling care packages, crafting appreciation cards, holding flags during patriotic events and funerals, and more.

Similarly, the Arizona Magic Youth Outreach aims to nurture the state's youth, providing them with essential life skills, mentorship, and support for mental health. Steering the auction is the engaging auctioneer, Brett Higgins, while the evening’s proceedings will be hosted by Lin Sue Flood, a former 12 News Anchor and currently the director of community engagement for Arizona Hospice of the Valley. Flood was recently acknowledged as one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona of 2022. Furthermore, the event proudly announced AZPetVet as its title sponsor, with Tami Butcher and Cherie Malkoff at the helm as dedicated chairs.

For over two decades, Gabriel’s Angels has been at the forefront of providing pet therapy to vulnerable children across Arizona. The organization, a stalwart believer in the transformative power of pet therapy, equips children with seven vital core behaviors. Schools, shelters, and community partners consistently extol the free pet therapy services, citing them as instrumental in changing young lives.
