FUN FACTS ABOUT BASIS PHOENIX PRIMARY
• BASIS Phoenix Primary fifth grade students have typically placed in the top five in the Math League State Competition and in Math League National Competition for grade level. • Their fifth-grade students also sang the National Anthem at an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game!
BASIS Phoenix Primary, located in the North 32nd community at 11850 N. 32nd Street, opened in 2018 and serves students in kindergarten through grade 5. Their rigorous and accelerated curriculum engages students in hands-on, dynamic lessons across a well-balanced array of courses in literacy, humanities, math, science, engineering, Mandarin, P.E, visual arts, drama, and music. They recognize the importance of unstructured play and collaboration in helping students learn to advocate for themselves and their ideas in compassionate ways. Students have plenty of opportunity for independent practice with concepts to ensure comprehension, or to meet with their teachers for further support. Resiliency is taught through example and by helping students learn from their mistakes.
Upcoming tour dates include:
• October 7 • October 21 • October 28 • November 4
