STORYBOOK “KID”CHEN

What: Join chef Edible Ed as he reads Laura Numeroff’s classic story, “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.” Then, create your own delicious twist on this tale and enjoy it as a snack!

Harvest Fest

What: Celebrate the changing seasons with free activities including pumpkin picking and decorating, bounce houses, slides, face painting, coloring contests, live entertainment, games, prizes, and giveaways.

“LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”

When: Nov. 3 -19

Where: Mesa Arts Center, One E. Main St., Mesa

What: “Little Shop of Horrors” is a delectable sci-fi horror musical with an electrifying 1960s pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II.” Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for human blood.

VISION KIDS: CLAY PINCH POTS

When: Nov. 18

Where: The Vision Gallery, 10 E. Chicago St., Chandler

What: Use air-dry clay to make pinch pots!

Day Of The Dog

When: Nov. 18 - 19

Where: Scottsdale Artists’ School, 3720 N. Marshall Way

What: This is a free, pet-friendly two-day extravaganza. Activities include puppy yoga, top pet exhibitors from Arizona, a superherothemed photo booth complete with capes and masks, a brunch featuring Acana Pet foods and fresh fruit, and thrilling dog races like the Running of the Bulls for French and English bulldogs.

Pow Wow Dancing

“ANASTASIA THE MUSICAL” YOUTH
