We happened to stop by for mass at St. Michael’s this one Saturday evening. My husband and I had thought about solar being the best option for us. After mass there was a message that was given to us from Sister Jean and Sister Zoe inviting people to join a program called Gallup Solar.

We signed up not knowing what to expect and as of now we feel very blessed to have met Sister Jean and Sister Zoe and participate in such an amazing project they are a part of. We have gone from living with no electricity and not being able to keep groceries, to actually being able to purchase groceries and have a place to keep them fresh.

Very Grateful! Frederick and Eva Joe

I think that it is a great program and its doing a very good job in helping many whom don’t have power. We love our solar system and plan to go completely solar in the future. It has helped tremendously since having our system installed.

Thank you all ! From Davis Family

Solar system complete and ready to be used. Alex participated in the Gallup Solar classes and then went on to donate the solar system to the Tsosie Family, which consist of Justin and Sunshine(parents) and their 3 children that were living without power.

What you all are doing to help people living without power on the Navajo Nation is great. We are very grateful, and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to receive this solar system. Living without power and having 3 young children is a challenge. We are now able to have groceries and light for those dark evenings out here.

Thank you again! Tsosie Family

Last of these pictures are from our days of showing our presentations and solar system installations to the Gallup Solar group. What a great experience this has been, from gaining knowledge in solar systems, to meeting awesome people that are doing great things to help others.
