Congress postponed to 25–28 May 2022 Timișoara, Romania WFUMB 2022, 25–28 of May, Timișoara, Romania The year 2021 started in an optimistic tone, with the hope of stopping the pandemic, in the context of starting the vaccination process, and respectively with the hope of returning to normal life. However, many of the scientific and educational activities will continue in the online environment, with the inherent advantages and disadvantages of these forms of communication. For the entire Ultrasound community, 2021 was to be a very important year, in terms of organizing the most important world scientific event of ultrasonography, namely the World Congress of Ultrasonography, in conjunction with two other major ultrasound events: The XXXIII Congress of the European Federation of Ultrasonography Societies in Medicine and Biology – EFSUMB – EUROSON and the XXIV National Conference of the Romanian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology in Romania. Unfortunately, although the preparations continue in a straight line for this event, the epidemiological context both in Romania and in the world, does not allow us to physically organize this prestigious event this year and we had to postpone the congress for 2022. Thus, Timișoara will become for 4 days the Capital of World Ultrasonography during the WFUMB 2022, between May 25–28, 2022. The meeting will benefit of a new venue, the new Timișoara Convention Center, located in the center of the city.
