Elizabeth and Frances were our grandmothers, and we are two sisters and a cousin who started a greeting card and paper goods company in 2013. With the help of an amazing team, we have since grown the line to include over 800 SKUs, from our signature Little Notes® to our classic greeting cards and notepads.
More importantly, we have built a company rooted in family values: in spreading love, gratitude, and kindness. It’s not just the artwork and the messages on the cards, it’s the joy that spills out into how we do business, and how we see our responsibility as owners rooted in those values.

• We have eliminated the use of plastic sleeves on all greeting cards.
• We have designed plastic-free boxes for boxed sets.
• Our envelopes are made from FSC-Cerified paper and are recyclable..
• We have switched to recycled paper for our notepads.
• Our gift bags are made from FSC-Cerified paper.
• We use 100% recycled crinkle paper, merchandise bags, retail bags, and tissue paper.
• We source only 100% cotton for our gift bag string and retail ribbon.
• We ship with newsprint and cardboard instead of any plastic fill.
• We have eliminated the use of bubble wrap (unless it is brought in for a second life).
• We work with our vendors to ship with cardboard and paper protection rather than plastic.

Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express) or ACH. By default, all payments including shipping and handling fees are processed at the time of order fulfillment. Any orders that are not paid within 30 days will be cancelled. Existing customers are eligible for Net 30 terms with approval. Net 30 accounts must remit payment by check when due. Late payments incur a finance charge per month until paid in full.

At the moment, we are accepting a limited number of online retailers. Please let us know if you are interested in selling exclusively online and we are happy to review our policies. Please note that E. Frances Paper customers are not authorized to sell our products on third party websites such as Amazon, EBay, Etsy, Walmart.com, or any others without our express written permission. Please be sensitive to the fact that violating our third party reseller policy may result in closure of your account. However, if you have a brick and mortar shop with your own website, we will be happy to help with any information and/or images you require to feature E. Frances Paper. We just ask that our MAP (minimum advertised price) is respected and E. Frances Little Notes® are listed correctly.
DISPLAY AND PACKAGING
All of our products must be displayed and sold in their original packaging. Little Notes® and boxed sets may not be broken up. All online stores must tag and credit E. Frances Paper on any products listed for sale. Please let us know if you have questions about this.
SHIPPING
All shipping costs are calculated based on weight and distance and are included on your final invoice. Orders ship via UPS or USPS. Please notify us of any time-sensitive orders. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost. E. Frances Paper is not responsible for any carrier delays. Any duties or customs fees are the responsibility of the retailer. Orders ship from our headquarters in Newport, Rhode Island, USA.
TURNAROUND TIME
Our typical turnaround time is 5-7 business days. Please note that during peak periods, orders may take a bit longer to ship. Please contact us if you have concerns regarding your delivery date. Holiday orders must be received by a specified date set each season.
BACK ORDERS
Backorders will ship separately once items are back in stock. Payment for backorders will process when items are ready to ship and shipping charges will apply.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
All E. Frances sales are final. We ask that all cancellations or changes to your order be submitted within 24 hours of placing the order. Any reductions or cancellations not reported within 24 hours will be issued a restocking fee. Changes to fulfilled orders may cause delays and a change in shipping fees. Incorrectly shipped or damaged merchandise must be reported within 5 days of receipt.
