meet the EFR The EFR is the offi cial faculty association of the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) and is not to be confused with a fraternity or a student association. The EFR aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The EFR’s strength lies in our rich history, loyal partners and broad social and professional networks. We give students the opportunity to gain an early insight into what goes on behind the scenes of the corporate world and off er them a vibrant social scene ranging from parties to study trips. Through the EFR, students get the chance to meet business and political leaders as well as to mingle with a large number of enthusiastic fellow students. All activities the EFR organises are based the four goals of the EFR: education, orientation, development and network.

having fun With your committee As a Committee member you are bound to have fun with your committee. You have meetings every week, but you can also go and have dinner, get some drinks in the city or have a committee weekend! The supervisor from the board is happy to come along with these fun activities.
With the committee members The Committee Members Weekend, the EFR Prom and the other activities the High Five Committee organises are there for you as an Committee Member only! All the Committee Member join, which means you are partying with more than 150 students! You can also join the diff erent trips the EFR organises, like the Ski Trip or the City Trip. One thing is for sure, you are going to have a lot of fun as an EFR Committee Member.

The Eurekaweek committee The Eurekaweek is the introduction week for all new first year EUR students. This week is filled with activities, stunts and parties from all student associations in Rotterdam. For the EFR this is a highly important moment, since this is the perfect opportunity to get new ESE students in touch with the EFR and everything the EFR has to offer. As member of the Eurekaweek Committee you will be responsible for the promotion of the EFR and all the activities that will be organized during this week. The program includes promotional stunts during ‘Meet the Campus’, organizing an interesting faculty program with a renowned speaker getting and much more! The Eurekaweek Committee is responsible for the representation of the EFR throughout the Eurekaweek and has the great challenge to promote all the things the EFR has to offer to a student. Please note that you have to available during the Eurekaweek and in the weeks before.

The Heartbeat committee As a member of the Heartbeat Committee, you will be responsible for organizing one of the most exciting campus event of the year: the Heartbeat Festival. The Heartbeat Festival attracts over 2000 visitors each year - being Erasmus university staff, Erasmus university students and inhibitants of the Kralingen neighbourhood. This year will be the 5th edition, and thus a lustrum! Which means it will be bigger than ever! It will take place on the 7th of September on the first day of the academic year. Together with the Erasmus University Events Department, you will be responsible for organizing this big event. Please note that it obligatory to be available full time two weeks in advance of the event.

The International Daytrip Committee will organise excursions for international and exchange students to get to know the Netherlands and surrounding areas. Investment conference committee Positions: chairman project managers
The Investment conference committee This is a new committee that will organize a brand new event together with B&R Beurs Erasmus Investment Society . The two associations are cooperating to organize a Finance & Investment event for their members. As a committee member, you will either be from the EFR and/or from B&R beurs. The committee will consist of 4 devoted and ambitious students that are willing to show initiative. Furthermore, as this is a new event, you will have the opportunity to think out of the box and show your best organizational skills. We are looking for students that are interested in finance & investment.
