EFR acquisition committee Do you want to gain experience in approaching companies and closing deals? Are you a real salesperson and a gogetter? Then the acquisition committee is perfect for you. One of your tasks is acquiring deals for the new EFR membership card. Together with your committee, you focus on approaching companies in Rotterdam to get EFR members the best exclusive deals! Further, your responsibilities include supporting other committees in their acquisition activities and working closely with the Commercial Officer to manage the company portfolio of EFR. As a member of the acquisition committee, you will develop your communication skills and learn how to work in a professional environment. As you are responsible for company contact on behalf of EFR, you carry a large responsibility for the association. You are able to advise companies in their strategic decisions and you can expand your personal network.

EFR content committee Will you uncover the next Watergate scandal? The EFR content committee is the successor of the prestigious Eclair, a magazine EFR brought out 4 times a year. The EFR content committee is initiated to facilitate once again the link between students and current economic events. The committee will write articles on a weekly bases about economic news, interesting events on campus and in Rotterdam, prospective career opportunities and of course there is also room for your own initiatives. Your hard work will be published on the EFR website and will represent EFR as a whole! Are you curious, an excellent writer in either Dutch and/or English (or are eager to improve these skills) and have an eye for interesting topics, then apply now to join the EFR content committee!

EFR Eurekaweek committee The Eurekaweek is the introduction week for all new first-year EUR students. This week is filled with activities, stunts and parties from all student associations in Rotterdam. For EFR this is a highly important moment since this is the perfect opportunity to get new ESE students in touch with EFR and everything EFR has to offer. As a member of the Eurekaweek committee, you will be responsible for the promotion of EFR and all the activities that will be organized during this week. The program includes promotional stunts during ‘Meet the Campus’, organizing an interesting faculty program with a renowned speaker getting and much more! The Eurekaweek committee is responsible for the representation of EFR throughout the Eurekaweek and has the great challenge to promote all the things EFR has to offer to a student, such as a becoming a committee member and hand out cool EFR gadgets.

EFR/B&R investment conference committee The first investment conference was successfully organized in collaboration between EFR and B&R Beurs. After this success, both associations are like-minded in expanding the investment conference to make the event bigger and better. As a committee member, you are part of a team consisting of both EFR and B&R Beurs members, working jointly on the next big event on campus. Past editions brought renowned economists from big corporates to the campus, where they discussed the effects of the current political situation in Europe and America on our economy and investments! And as the new committee, you will get to decide the theme yourself. So, if you got what it takes to get the right partners on stage and to set your mark on this upcoming event then apply for the investment conference committee.

EFR lustrum committee Next academic year the EFR will celebrate their 55th birthday, together with all the students of the Erasmus School of Economics! In the past, we organized a paint splash party for over 2000 students, hosted an EFR alumni congress, went swimming in our pre-lustrum pool party and had an amazing prom. The next lustrum will be bigger and better than before and you can be a part of it right from the beginning! So do you have some crazy ideas for next year, are a fantastic organizer and do you want to help EFR celebrate her 11th lustrum in an unforgettable way? Then apply for this committee!

EFR thesis committee The bachelor thesis may be the most challenging subject of the bachelors at Erasmus School of Economics and EFR would love to help her members to fulfill this task. The thesis committee will set up a cycle of trainings which will support bachelors 3 students with every aspect of their thesis. From finding data to correctly specify a research question, this committee will organize a training at each stage of the thesis. This committee will bring you into contact with different companies and organizations which can deliver valuable trainings. For this committee, EFR is looking for third-year bachelor or masters students who understand what thesis-writers need.
