Erasmus Recruitment Days The Erasmus Recruitment Days committee organises the biggest on-campus recruitment event in the Benelux. Around the 100 companies and 2400 students are participating in the Erasmus Recruitment Days, a joint venture between the EFR and STAR. This two-week event will take place in the beginning of February. And you will be working on it fulltime for 7 months to make all of this happen! We are looking for students who want to have a fulltime commitment, and want to organise the biggest event at the Erasmus University. Can you handle such numbers of students and companies?

Erasmus Entrepreneurial Network The Erasmus Entrepreneurial Network is there to enthuse students about entrepeneurship. This year EEN will organise Meet the Dragons in collaboration with HOPE. The 14th of November young startups will pitch for a €100.000 - €1.000.000 investment from 5 investors in front of a full auditorium! Apart from that, you will organise the Business Plan Game in March.

We are looking for students who are very interested in entrepreneurship, and have the skill to make a day like Meet the Dragons possible. Can you bring wealthy investors and young entrepreneurs together? Then apply now for the Erasmus Entrepreneurial Network!

Activities Committee The activities committee is one of the oldest and most prominent committees of the EFR. Being a member of this committee your organisational skills will be challenged and developed.You will be in charge of of a broad range of projects.You will start with organising the City Trip – a long weekend in one of the big cities in Europe. In addition you will organise the EFR – EenVandaag Political Debate, one the most prestigious sevents of the EFR broadcasted on national television.You will also be responsible for the organisation of the EFR – Consultancy Charity Game and the promotion of the EFR during the EurekaWeek! INvolve The Involve project is a new and unique project on campus. The Involve Committee will be organising a volunteering project where students can use their academic knowledge to improve situations in developing countries. Last year the first edition of the Involve project commenced; a group of 20 students did desk research about a social enterprise in the Netherlands, and field research in Cameroon for three weeks to verify their findings. The EFR-Involve Committee has the challenging task to set up a volunteering project from A to Z! For this committee motivation and enthusiasm are the main qualities we are looking for. External Affairs Since the EFR is the oldest study association on our campus, it has an enormous network within and outside of Rotterdam. As a member of the External Affairs committee you will be responsible for maintaining the valuable relationships with all our contacts, which includes the organising of several Erasmus School of Economics Alumni events. Besides you and your team will attend numerous amazing events, the EFR gets invited for, to get in touch with new parties that might be of interest. Commercial Team The Commercial Team is responsible for managing the commercial relations of the EFR. As a member of this committee you will work together closely with the Commercial Officer to monitor the existing company network, finance events and attract new partners.You will be responsible for the capital raising for major events such as the Orientation Cycle, Meet the Dragons and the EurekaWeek. You will be actively involved in each of these projects since you are the bridge between the organising committee and the business world. We are looking for three highly motivated students who are strong communicators and are representative.

Orientation Cycle Committee In collaboration with the Erasmus School of Economics and the master study associations Eureos, FSR, Maeur and Transito the EFR organises the Orientation Cycle.This event consists of five different Orientation Days and provides students with the opportunity to explore the career prospectives of different fields of (business) expertise.As a member of the Orientation Cycle Committee you will be responsible for the companies, speakers and content of the Orientation Days.You will be working together with master study associations and in close collaboration with companies and different faculty departments.We are looking for students with excellent communication skills and an interest in organising.

The magazine reaches 6.000 students and once a year 26.000 students will receive the special EFR-Business Week theme edition.

Marketing Team The Marketing Team of is responsible for the image of the EFR and the promotion of EFR’s activities. The variety of activities in a year makes the Marketing Team one of the most interesting and fun committees of the EFR. Under direct supervision of the Marketing & IT Officer, you’ll play a major role in the digitalisation of the EFR. We are looking for people with skills in marketing management, creative minds, design hero’s and people with affinity with IT. You can perform surveys amongst all EFR-members, order gadgets, create stunning designs or conquer the campus with all our promotion. Think outside the box!

E.P.I.C. Erasmus Political and International affairs Club All events organised by E.P.I.C. have something to do with politics. In the beginning of the year you organise a Student Debate on campus. This debate also serves as a preliminary round for your biggest event, namely the Model United Nations! This amazing conference usually takes place around February and last year we went to London. Besides that, you are able to organise embassy visits and there is room for you own initiatives. Almanac Committee As Almanac committee you are responsible for publishing the EFR Almanac. It becomes your challenge to catch all the memorable stories, hilarious pictures and awkward quotes! By doing so you will create a booklet which all of our active members will grab to bring back all the fantastic memories about their EFR year. The iBuddy Programme and the unforgettable IBEB-Introduction Weekend will provide you with the opportunity to both improve your organising skills and give prospective IBEB Students a warm welcome to Rotterdam.

START Committee The Start Committee organises events that are for 1st-year economics students only! This is one of the oldest committees at the EFR, because we think it is important for 1st-year students to develop themselves. The activities focus on the social side of student life, for example the Casino Night or the Pub Crawl. At the end of the year you organise the introduction weekend, where you spend the weekend with 120 new economics students and a lot of Active Members! A big responsibility for someone who is just beginning in Rotterdam! Are you one of the students who want to step out during his student life? Then go for it!

Skitrip committee The Skitrip committee organises the EFR-Skitrip, which takes place in the beginning of January. Last year this was the largest Skitrip of the Erasmus University. We went to Les Menuires with almost 100 people! Having our own hotel and bar, imagine how much fun we had! We are looking for people who like a party now and then, but are also serious enough to organise a whole vacation for a big group of people. Are you someone who likes skiing or boarding, do you like to party and are you a responsible person? Then you should definitely apply for the EFR-Skitrip!

Party Crew The Party Crew is responsible for organising the EFR parties. As a member of this committee you are challenged to successfully combine the right ingredients to create an unforgettable night.You will organise, market and manage all big parties of EFR, including the Welcome Party, the NewYears-Party and the EFR-Business Week Party. The committee will also be in charge of the monthly EFR drink and become the face of this social event.You will be challenged to set up innovative marketing campaigns and to find the right location and the very best DJs.We are looking for students who are creative like to organise and of course enjoy to party.
