This presentation was compiled by two high school students, Lauren Lascano (Team Leader) and Brelyn McDonald who participated in the NSBE JR Explorer Technical Innovation Competition. These young ladies aspire to be STEM professionals in health and life sciences. This was hosted by the National Society of Black Engineers at the 47th Virtual Competition April 5- 9, 2021. Their presentation was reviewed by judges from Pfizer who gave them positive reviews. Their research and competition readiness was coached by Ms. Kearston Ingraham (RTP NSBE Public Health Liaison, Clinical Researcher) and Dr. Toni Arnold-McFarland Senior Advisor of RTP NSBE JR. They gained insight from other key contributors in the public health and clinical research arena. There is also a full paper accompanying the research. The slides were narrated to align with the research paper and competition criteria.
