Create soft appliqué designs with Gentle Fuse, a paper-backed fusible web from Maywood Studio. It fuses to fabric in seconds to create a permanent bond, allowing you to cut out intricate shapes with clean, no-fray edges. Gentle Fuse is a perfect substitute for Soft Fuse, as it leaves no residue on sewing needles and retains a gentle hand.
SUGGESTED FABRIC These jack-o’-lanterns are sized to fit perfectly onto 10” squares. Use one pack of 42 squares to make a 38” x 47” wall hanging, or two packs to make a 57” x 66.5” throw. Add a border or sashing to enlarge further as desired.
SQ-MASWOF-DES Woolies Flannel Desert Sunset 10” Squares (42pc)
CUTTING TIPS To optimize fabric use, fit any combination of pumpkin, eyes, nose, mouth, and stump on one 10” x 10” square of fabric. When making a wall-hanging or quilt, set aside half of the 10” squares to use as backgrounds, then trace, fuse, and cut out a variety of pumpkins, faces, and stumps on the remaining squares. Mix and match backgrounds with the faces and pumpkins so every block is unique! Suggested arrangement on a 10” x 10” square (not to scale)
