QUILT ASSEMBLY: Refer to QUILT DIAGRAM

1. From B, C and D strips - subcut (2) 31-1/2” pieces and (2) 50-1/2” pieces.

2. Sew together (1) C 1-1/2” X 31-1/2” strip, (1) D 2-1/2” X 31-1/2” strip and (1) B LOF 5-1/2” X 31-1/2” strip, to make TOP BORDER STRIP. Repeat to create BOTTOM BORDER STRIP.

3. Sew together (1) C 1-1/2” X 50-1/2” strip, (1) D 2-1/2” X 50-1/2” strip and (1) B WOF 5-1/2” X 50-1/2” strip, to make SIDE BORDER STRIP, make (2).

4. Sew (1) SIDE BORDER STRIP to the right side of the A panel, starting at the top and stopping 1 inch before the end of the panel and press.

5. Sew TOP BORDER STRIP to top of panel and press. Sew SIDE BORDER STRIP to left side, press, then sew BOTTOM BORDER STRIP to bottom and press.

6. Complete the seam on the right side and press.

FINISHING:

Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind with E fabric.
