The UWC MaAhindra College is a pre-university boarding school, situated 40Km west of Pune, Maharashtra. Established in the year 1997, with an aim to make education a force to unite people, nation, and cultures for a sustainable future by Mahindra Group, the college is one of the eighteen United World Colleges. Soraya Sayed Hassen is the current Head of College while the Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra is the chairman of the college. Its a co-educational boarding school affiliated to the International Baccalaureate, with a two-year Diploma program for pre-university students. The College is spread over 175 acres campus area is situated on a hill surrounded by rural communities near Mulshi Dam. With world-class infrastructure and boarding facilities, the college accommodates around 250 full-time boarders with a student-teacher ratio of 9:1.
